So I saw the cross play enable and I choose yes. I thought I will be a nice guy and play with someone in arms race help out some console player.

I’ve joined a game, the guy was okay, we moved together. At the boss he said “sorry I go eat fast”, he died. I’ve completed it -wasn’t easy since it was 2x harder than in solo- then when boss died he quickly joined, picked up stuff. When I’ve tried to send my stuff to my bank, he closed the game, and I’ve ended up with an error screen saying the connection lost.

Funny because first time I saw some mods ever that I was just about to send over.

So yeah, great stuff. The guy knew what he was doing obviously (or else he wouldn’t go “just eat”, let himself die and pick up loot at the end.

And the developers? No one ever tested this? That actually the other player is screwed, loosing everything after a hard earned good loot?

So yeah I’m fking pissed and I think I have right to do so. A crappy desing for toxic player endorsement.
I go back to play solo thank you…

alas, that is why i still can’t bear to turn on matchmaking.

There have been unpleasant folk pulling similar things with Trials (and, in other games, raid bosses) since for ever. Apparently, the concept of instanced loot and cooperation mode hasn’t penetrated their understanding yet. Your best bet is to connect via the on-line play section with like-minded individuals, and populate your friend’s list that way. Random matchmaking can be great, but it can also be terrible, and there’s no way for any developer to fix human behaviour.

Because today is your forum anniversary (there’s a tooltip pops up if you hover the mouse over it.) If you entered a birthday, you get a whole cake on that auspicious occasion. :birthday:

Aw fun! I thought it might be something like that. I’m only on the mobile app so I haven’t a mouse to hover; I tried tapping and long tapping the icon but it didn’t do anything. Cool. Thanks :blush:
