This is the trouble with “summer”: it’s too vague a concept. The astronomical definition of “summer” as a specific quadrant of the Earth’s orbit around the sun (June 21 - September 22) doesn’t work for half the world at all, and only partially works for the rest of it. Summer as a season obviously varies with how far and which direction you are from the equator (as well as local climate modifiers like coastline, gulf stream, etc.). Most people probably use it in the sense of “the hottest part of the year when all the kids are off school for the longest time in the year”, but that also varies with hemisphere…

So note to GBX marketing folks via @JoeKGBX: please don’t use vague terms like “summer” or “fall” for release schedules!

It confused me too when people started saying September was summer. I researched it too and there are apparently two calendars, one astronomical that you referred to and another one that just divides the whole 12 months into four seasons.

It doesn’t matter really because they’re overdue in delivering either way.

Wait, there’s 22-23 days of Summer in September and 8-9 days of Fall and you call it Fall?

It’s about a month away now. And do we know when kid ultra drops? I’d assume they coincide with the dlc release?

Doubt it. As interesting as Kid Ultra is, for him to come with the Big Content Patch, DLC campaign and other events is unlikely.

  • 6 titles
  • 2 more skins for each of the current 28 heroes, up to 56 new skins
  • 3 new taunts
  • Faction Commander Packs each time you hit the max score

While I’m sad that there’s only 3 taunts, I’m so happy that we will have the chance to get as many faction commander packs as we want. No more wasting thousands of credits for that one taunt you’re missing! :relaxed:

I’m really hoping at least one of those 2 skins for each character is a Halloween skin but those might just go to the platinum marketplace which will be a bummer.

As far as I know, each character has its score and once you hit cap at 100 operation points with this hero you get the pack. So one pack per each hero.

There is nothing stopping you grinding for packs in the regular story missions if that’s what you really want to do. Leave the Story Ops packs alone! :stuck_out_tongue:

28 packs to get so far, minimum 56 runs. Isn’t that a grind? And then there are 4 more DLCs and 2 heroes to come.
