Attikus still needs a buff

i play on console and i disagree he still gets blown to pieces

First game I played after the patch I went up against an Attikus who went 30-4 in a 3 man team after two DCs.

He can still wreck absolute face.

His wound is seriously underrated, this guy would pounce in, wound, slow and decimate our supports and proceed to belt the daylights out of everyone in range sans healers.

The silence makes most characters a sitting duck once he has his attack speed up and the ult slow can seriously cripple several battleborn at once.

I feel he is a complex character to play well but can be utterly devastating if played to his strengths as an ambusher. Diving straight down the lane has never been his strength.

Just have to mention that now his helix that reset the pounce cooldown when he kill a major enemy with it, is wonderfull as pounce now deals way more damage…

I was able to finish 3 players yesterday by jumping on the first, then on the second and then on the last one… xD

What you’ve just described is what is supposed to happen. You seem to be missing the fact that you are still alive after being focused by 3-4 players. That’s 60%-80% of the enemy team focused entirely on you and you walked away alive. That’s AMAZING! :smile_cat: If, Orendi, for example, got that much attention she’d be dead before the 1.5 sec warmup it takes for her shadow fire pillar to pop.

The other thing that you may not have recognized is that if 60%-80% of the enemy team’s attention is focused on you it means that your team has free reign to push up or escape or get thralls or focus the sentry or a myriad of any other opportunities that are now available to them because you are being focused. That’s a great team strategy in and off itself.

So no, you don’t suck. In the example you gave you were creating opportunities for your team by being the focus. And the fact that you survived is a testament to your situational awareness because you stayed out long enough to get some minions but not long enough to die!

Hrm. Never thought of it that way. Now if only I saw my team make something of those opportunities. :frowning:
