If you have not done so already, please file a bug report via the support form (link in sticky post at the top of this category). The audio bug is apparently not affecting everybody on PS4 the same way, so the team will need as much data as possible to help narrow down the cause.

I checked with some folks I know on PS4 who are playing with all patches/updates applied, and they confirmed they’re not experiencing the same issues as described here…

Doesn’t change the fact that it would be helpful if folks would file bug reports for the issues they are experiencing.

Check with some folks you know that have PS4 Pro. Put your headphones, Go online, Load in, wait a bit. Choose Prometheus and shoot some thing. Audio is bugged. Its hurting ears much as fps hurts my eyes.

The moderator team have been doing exactly that. But Gearbox have specifically requested that folks file support tickets as well.

Also for the record moderators are volunteers - not Gearbox employees - so what we do here has to fit around our day jobs.

Yeah, exact same copy and paste crap I got also.
Bugger all of what they put in there applies to PS4 as well, and when submitting the ticket it shows what system you are using.

Provided video I had with sounds on it, still yet to hear back from them

Exact same problem I havent really played the game since last Thursday and I get on today and everything sounds muffled. I am using headphones plugged into my PS4 controller and all audio going out to the headphones.

Same issue but only on certain maps, even characters voice does an echo as in repeats itself not the recorder.

I think the new hotfix that came out yesterday fixed the audio issue somehow.
It’s not mentioned in fixes, but playing last night felt the sound was as it should be again.

I’d be curious to see if worked for others with the issue also.

Found a fix maybe. I went into sound settings and changed it to night time. Dialogue and all sounds have been working correctly since ive done this. Until they actually fix it this seems to work.

Hotfix has stopped echo’s for me, but I did slaughterhouse and near starting platform after a couple of rounds a horrible sound emanates from there after a couple of rounds.
