Yea, very buggy release. Iâm losing Fast Travel Stations from the map. Iâve been blown up multiple times using the Anarchy when shooting the âShoot Meâ orb thatâs far away from me. I want to play but all of the bugs are taking the enjoyment out of it.
Got the same audio stuff on Zane so I donât think it is character speccific.
Playing Zane I have the same issue.
In my case the white noise came about from dying while being damage by the âBoundary Issuesâ beam. Oddly enough it sounded like gushing water while going through the wormhole to the NewU station then upon respawn the bug was overriding normal game sounds.
I havenât had a noise issue since dodging Boundary Issues modifier, I use Chain gang instead.
Exactly the same I get the audio static then when I try to exit boom crash
Someone posted a Twitter screen shot from the official Borderlands account suggesting that the offending mayhem modifier (the Boundary one) is being temporarily disabled until a proper fix can be issued. So maybe check again after ensuring the latest hotfix? (The hotfix date should be on one the ânewsâ panels in the main game menu)
What ps4 model u have?
You can try to reset the databank of the system in safe mode.
Therefore, turn off console press power button until the console beeps twice, the safe mode will open up and you can restore your databank from there.
There are videos on that if you are unsure.
I hope this will at least make it run a bit better.
Try to avoid the pool party modifier it causes huge performance lags and audio bugs and that after 5 - 10 minutes leads into a blue screen.
I have the same problem with mayhem 4. I am in norm al mode trying to get a mule upto lvl 50, I was playing mayhem 4 before the update without incident. When the new patch went live I played mayhem mode on a lvl57 without any bugs, but once I went to my mule in normal mode lvl 38 mayhem 4 the audio and frame rate began stuttering. I switched out to mayhem 1 and it the bugs disappeared.
Itâs quite possibly to do with the particular modifiers you had at the time. Each character is going to get a different set of modifiers when you load them up in the new mayhem for the first time, and those modifiers will change if you change mayhem level. You can also re-roll them at any time (look for the key/button info on the bottom right below your current modifiers list). For levelling, you could just run a few modifiers (even just one) and get an XP booster via the Borderlands Science station.
The audio bug seems to have been largely due to Personal Boundaries, which I believe has been temporarily disabled via hotfix?
