Go ahead and delete my comment but these issues have become a complete an utter joke now

can we please have an ETA on server fixes? i saw a post giving a rough ETA on the Voxis Core fix and if you ask me this is A LOT more important. i really am trying to enjoy this game but a month past release and nothing more than ’ hey we know you’re entire region struggles to get a local game but we’re doing our best to get it sorted just trust in us!’ is starting to wear thin.
I have tried very hard to defend this when people bring it up as a detriment to the game.
“they’re aware of the problem, i’m sure it’ll be fixed in no time!”

i understand that the Oceanic region isn’t your only demographic but i’ll be blown away if it isn’t one of your major ones.
it’s been just over a month now and it’s really getting hard to defend here. please give us something.

I’m basically checking this post every few days hoping for some sort of reply or fix so I can jump back into playing the game. But nope, nothing. The lag and stuttering issues with this game are unacceptable. As a comparison, I played Overwatch on US servers recently and it was smooth. So there’s no reason why Battleborn should constantly give red ping bars and struggle to keep up.

So have the devs just moved on from this? i still check weekly for the hope that the problem has been fixed, but to no avail. Can’t get a refund as i bought it through the xbox store, bought the digital deluxe edition as the beta worked fine for me and loved the game, come to release and about a month and a half later still getting nothing, never regretted buying any game till now, literally donated $120 to gearbox to get a picture in my games library. Hopefully it will be fixed, but all that us players are able to do is guess or assume gearbox is working on it, other then that we have no hope.

No, we definitely haven’t forgotten about you guys down under. I don’t have any “news” unfortunately as the investigation is ongoing. Thanks for hanging in there!

In the meantime, in case you missed it, some players have reported that changing their download region to on that’s busier seems to help some. Might try this work around until we know more.

I play BB on PS4…

Is there anyway we Aussies can assist with improvements, @JoeKGBX…?

I’m more than happy to assist in anyway…
whether it’s testing playing BB at different points of the day or night…
to see if there is a more optimal time to play it, or when it might run best for example…

I’m no tech wizard, obviously…

But I would like to be able to play the game in an efficient manner…
So I’m here to give anything a try from an Australian point of view, if gearbox requires it…
As I’m sure many others would be happy to help in this thread too…

it’s a sweet thought but unfortunately it’s starting to become too late.
the Australian scene won’t survive much longer. i won’t pretend to know the first thing about coding but the lack of news doesn’t inspire confidence that we factor very high on their list of priorities.

Yeah, I get that. I don’t think I’ve even played for the last week. I keep looking at it on my ps4 and just kind of cringe and find something else to play because I don’t want to deal with a game that takes 45 minutes to get into a game, only to red/yellow bar lag for a 10 minute game with cr20 and under team mates who surrender because we’re losing. I just hope that by the time it gets fixed I’m not the only Aus player left! Lol

You won’t be, I promise. I fully intend to be the one to turn the lights off :wink:

Any Xbox players still on here? Tried to find a game for the first time in a fortnight and was greeted by no changes, couldn’t even find a game which hadn’t been a huge issue for me in the past.

But honestly how the hell can there be NO news? How after THIS long is it still just a guessing game as to what’s happening, why its happening and when there is going to be a fix available! I feel like I’m being ripped of by some dodgy mechanic who every time I call to check when it’s going to be ready they tell me about another “problem” they’ve found and how it’s gunna “be another day or 2”.

Battleborn has encountered an internal server timeout/error.

‘Failure to authenticate’

Still getting these two error messages consistently.

Many times I will get into map voting and get kicked before the game starts with a similar message.

Don’t do too much otherwise they’ll have to put you on payroll and you’ll probably fix the game for all Australians and become a battleborn legend :wink: haha or worst case scenario you can be the one to tell everyone that gearbox are currently ‘investigating’ lol…I’m being way too sarcastic and cynical, I apologize…but would but nice to have some green bars!

Ok tonight I had my first green bar game the time was 2130 australian cst, before that an hour or so at yellow bars and playing japanese ladies and gents. A very desirable outcome, I hope it’s not the last I experience

Maybe one out of five of my games is green. They’re always beautiful. And the red ones hurt all the more because of it :wink:

Haha, sarcasm and the likes is to be expected by most at this point I’d say… We are all hanging in there!
At least there’s still some of us giving the game a go, and at the very least not returning/trading in our copies…
Haven’t called upon me to assist…
But just put it out there because I think that’s the point we are getting to, ‘help me, help you’, even if we can’t… Gotta try, haha :wink:

Have you tried calling MS and explaining the situation? Perhaps they’d make an exception in this case.
