I’m 1 baring and go 17-0 in capture mode and everyone else in the game is 3 baring … I got 21 objectives and we still manage to lose! HOW!
Red ping every game since beta. I’ve had to learn to accept rubberbanding as a part of life.
It’s one of the reasons why I go Miko healer, since I can’t hit with anything else due to lag. That and because it’s awesome.
I swear it makes me harder to kill. I quite regularly get zero deaths and I’m pretty sure part of it is because I’m teleporting around the screen.
Do not underestimate the power of the rubberband.

Was the worst game i had, was stuck in the reloading animation to the point where i couldnt kill the opponent, then died due to not being able to run away.

The daily struggle. In two hours I only managed to get 5 minutes of a private pve match before I couldn’t handle the lag and one private pvp match.

I feel your pain mate. It’s been almost two weeks since GBX said they would look into it now but doesn’t seem to be any better. Not sure WTF is going on.
Just hopped on to play a few rounds and noticed I wasn’t rubber banding everywhere. Checked my ping and to my absolute surprise I had three bars!
The game felt amazing to play, after dealing with lag for so long it felt like a completely different experience.
There were 4 other Aus/NZ players with me and 5 red bars.
It was a sad moment when the following game was back to red/yellow ping.
Just for reference I am in Brisbane on Xbone. My details are near the top of the thread if needed.
Lag felt particularly bad tonight, couldn’t even get Kelvins stun to work reliably let alone land hooks with Ghalt. His stun is literally touch them and they get stunned and that couldn’t even proc because I was rubber banding so bad.
I’m quite patient about these things but this is getting a bit ridiculous so far after launch and I’m concerned both the vocal people here and the silent Aussies who bought this game will just trade it in or return it and we won’t have a solid enough playerbase here to warrant a server.
The game plays superbly with green ping, but anything less and it disolves into a mess of input lag and luck.
Really looking foward to a fix for this soon.

@JoeKGBX Can you possibly give us an ETA on that fix? Or an update? Anything? Almost 2 weeks and 300 responses but you’re still just looking into it?
Personally I’ve had one red bar since beta so I’m used to it. However I’m fairly certain there’s a few Aussies out there returning their game for a refund due to this lag. This is crazy.
We totally understand the frustration, believe me. There are a lot of moving parts that the team is having to consider when looking to make improvements. I don’t have a solid ETA at the moment and don’t want to speculate because that could just lead to further frustration.
We really do appreciate everyone’s patience and I promise that as soon as there is news, the people in this thread will be the first to know!
I got all excited when I read this under hotfixes.
I was tempted, even got the disk from my “to be traded pile” but alas the issue remains. Either that or all the Aussies and Kiwis bailed already.
Still don’t understand how hard it is to fix a issue. It’s been long enough really losing patience. If it isn’t done soon the Australian servers won’t even matter because people will have traded the game in by the time it’s fixed.

Okay this was the worst one to date, never once did i suffer during private missions, but i got DC’d after getting two legendaries in a mission. and oh look i cant rejoin… just lost everything in that mission

The new hotfix didn’t fix anything (as I hoped)
nah, basically I just try to login once everyday, but so far only receive the same error messages. GG gearbox, 3 days then I’ll give up.

Please everyone. I think a lot of you can see by now that the issue is unlikely to ever get fixed. I personallh recommened you go get your refund. If you want to wait it out in the hopes something changes thats cool also. But be aware we are weeks in. Already released several patchs none of which we are waiting for. I write this as now my younger bro takes back his copy.

At this rate I’m already trying to pray that Borderlands 3 won’t be the same like this.
Thats extremly unfortunate. I had a friend get the digital deluxe edition. He is stuck being cash down at the moment
