Australian Servers Issues (Post Your Data Here)

A game is really only relevant for the first month it goes on sale. From there on you keep the hardcore fans and enthusiasts to play it out to the end. It is closing in on the end of the first month and there is still serious server issues with the game that prevent an entire nation (or two) from getting what they paid for. This should be formally acknowledged by now otherwise it is a serious dismissal of the fans outside the primary region for the game. I hate to say it but I think there is no solution to this problem and they are avoiding telling us this. If there was a solution they would have told us by now. Sigh. Gearbox are burning the last of their goodwill … see this

Australia becomes the focus of the Pre Sequel and we follow up by showing support for Battleborn (we show very little interest in BL2 if your curious) and we get shafted by the rough end of the stick. I can say don’t expect us aussies to show up enforce for BL3. Goodwill is being burned by the lack of formal acknowledgement of the problems we are facing us as a nation since the launch of the game nearly 3 weeks ago now. Disgraceful.

It feels great, doesn’t it? And then it feels even worse when you get red in the next game! I also had some good games today, though there were always a few players with bad latency in every game, suggesting that US players were suffering for my good fortune. Which isn’t ideal either.

I’m hanging on. I don’t want Overwatch: I want the cast and modes of this game. It’s fun offline in co-op as well. We’ll see what the first hard patch brings.

ive had a few games were it starts on green for about 5 mins then drops to red for the rest of the game thats the best ive had

Today I gave up on the game I traded it in for overwatch. Purchased from ebgames this time so if overwatch servers plays up I can return it for a full refund.

I pretty much guarantee you the servers won’t stuff up for Overwatch, if you do experience disconnects and such it’s likely your Internet. Played the beta no problems what so ever.

I have really enjoyed this game And will hopefully continue to enjoy it in the future. I have not given up on the servers but will be much more actively playing other games. To jump on and play it takes 15 to 20 minutes just to find a lobby i dont d/c from. Once in, playing any mode pve or pvp will still give me a bright red latency bar without fail.

I haven’t given up either I’ll wait for this game to be fixed in the mean time I’ve been grinding borderlands and it’s still got me hooked

Trying to play it on a daily basis is just sad, so I just play it whenever I can be bothered with the lag. Since I got it recently it’s been on my mind for a while and I can’t even enjoy it so I just imagine what a 3 bar game with others would be like.

Same in SA I have NBN always plonked in a game with the yanks, matchmaking needs to be fixed. There is no excuses at this point in time as to why it shouldn’t be fixed. I can assure anyone interested in playing this game in Australia do not buy Battleborn, it’s a laggy mess! I’ve sent off the appropriate emails, twitter etc and I did get a response to the tune of we are aware of the situation, As gearbox are aware of the situation I’m sure they are gearing up for the mass exodus of players leaving to play Overwatch…REST IN PEACE BATTLEBORN, you were a monumental disappointment.

Odd. I’m from Malaysia and I’m basically your neighboring country. Yes I do experience the red bars you’re referring to however I’m not getting affected so badly with regards to gameplay. Yes sometimes I do see myself rubber banding but it never stopped me from contributing a hell lot for my team in any modes. Mind you I don’t play with people in the same country as I. I’m playing with people from the United States who’re mostly 12 hours behind me (us).

Some of us are having trouble doing everything in this game.

I’ve post this a lot of times, even sent it to the gearbox support.
Yet its still the same. Honestly, I try once everyday to get into the game. And I haven’t been able to properly play the game for more than 2 weeks now.
That’s why I’m so salty.

I get this every day too. It’s frustrating af for sure, and I don’t blame you or anyone else with these issues for giving up on the game. I just push through the slog, myself, and eventually get games going, even if most of them are private.

By all means, shelve the game for now and go play something more enjoyable like any sane person would do lol but I hope you keep an eye on any upcoming patches/fixes that should eventually fix the server issues. Come back when it’s all fixed so we can keep a modest aussie player base going, yeah?

I’m sorry that you’re having that issue. From the video, OMG I would get so mad after spending my money and only getting that issue. I’m pretty sure it’s not your connection since it’s impacting more than just you.

Just out of curiosity, have you added your PS4’s static IP into DMZ? It might probably not help but it’s worth trying everything you can
