They didn’t mention it in the patch notes, so I guess we just wait until next patch and hope that something gets fixed then…?

Lol i know how to port forward and make a static ip but it dosnt help this is a server based issue or lack there of… and it still hasnt been fixed? A month after release… what a let down… i was hoping this was gonna be the game i played for months but the lag just out me off the game its so sad thinking i loved the game but no love for the community. What a waste of money and time… i could be playing overwatch as we speak if i had that cash

Ok so staying on topic, the issue hasn’t been fixed going on 3 weeks. BUT, you could say longer since its been around since the beta.
It’s good that a lot of people have come to their senses and traded the game in, as paying consumers we deserve better and I’m glad people in Aus are seeing that.
To be honest, if this hadn’t been an issue in the Beta I might have stuck around but to release a game with the same connection issues when it’s an online game…that’s unforgivable.

This is the part I don’t get, because my beta experience was flawless. Green bars, no error messages, no getting dc’d from matches or booted from menus! I’m so confused as to what the hel happened. I’m not negating that there were issues with the beta for other people, I just don’t know why it didn’t happen to me
The most charitable interpretation of the delay in resolving all this is that GBX are no less confused by the varying feedback than we are. That we’re all being matched, most of the time, to US servers is obvious. Less obvious is why some can’t connect at all, when others (like me) have no problems whatsoever in the menus.
What’s also weird is that my connection is awful just by Australian standards: Basslink cable out of Hobart, on a copper connection so prone to dropouts, I’ve had to switch my modem to basic ADSL and limit my speed. Yet I’m still able to play the game and top score boards now and then, whereas some of the mainland posters here report this being literally unplayable.
Every day is different too. Last night my lag was unbearable, some of the worst I’ve had. Night before that, I had a few green bar games. If we find this all frustrating to experience, I can’t imagine how frustrating it is to fix…
I agree… it’s weird that my neighbouring country Singapore has way better connection than Malaysia (I’m assuming) but I can play with no problems but someone in Singapore couldn’t play the game due to connection issue. I really wonder why
There’s been a few complaints in this thread from people who literally cannot get into a game at all. That’s shocking. But you’re right, this must be a nightmare for GBX to work out and fix so I’ll just keep being patient until they do!
By the time Gearbox fix it nobody in Aus will be playing.
it makes me so sad that its taken so long i doubt it will even be fixed… considering they put out an update altering heros yet they wont PUBLICLY admit the connection issues
I do hope all of you who’re having connection issues have submitted a ticket to Gearbox support or 2K support. Because it’ll definitely get more of their attention if a ton of ticket is related to the same complaint
this issue won’t be fixed. Taken this long for what? I made the best choice trading the game in, if you want to stick it out then go ahead , I believe GBX are wasting us Aussies time.
