Champion balancing is a freaking joke. And not a funny one at that. Add to that the total lack of a proper matchmaking system and tadaa, you’ve got yourself some battleborn pvp. Welcome to the sad sad world of gearbox pvp. In a world with so many games that manage to do this, failing this hard is nothing short of failure. It’s not a slight miss. It’s not almost ok. It’s a huge ■■■■■■■ failure and you should actually consider handing out refunds!
I’m curious to know who or what you consider so unbalanced.
Sounds like someone is mad they got killed. There a couple of out of balance characters out there but its not nearly as bad as you are making it out to be. What character do you mostly use? Maybe you need a change of tactics that could benefit your game.

Do you mind explaining a bit? Just saying "Champion balancing is a freaking joke "won’t get anything fixed.
I think that, while there are some balancing issues as to be expected, every character is viable in capable hands, and with the right strategies. Teamwork and coordination are absolutely paramount. Furthermore, knowing favorable match-ups, and unfavorable ones, for the character being played is something that will come with time.
My wife and I are having a blast so far!

That’s all I’m getting from this, and that certainly isn’t anything for the average Joe like me to take into much consideration, so it’s pretty obvious that Gearbox probably isn’t going to.
I get it, though, you’re just here to vent petty frustrations. It’s not like you’re actually trying to influence them into making the game better or anything. . . right?

I’m actually curious to know why you feel the way you do. (call me crazy) However I need some context to go off of. Why is matchmaking not proper? To what extent are the characters unbalanced? We can’t discuss these topics meaningfully until you convey your thoughts about the game in a more meaningful manner.

Can you please give some examples?
Its more then likely ppl are entering a matchup that isnt in their favor and fighting that matchup in a way their character isnt good at.
For example if i get into raths face as thorn im no doubt going to lose no matter how good i think i am etc etc.

Wait what? Community tells a player that the issue isn’t the balancing but rather his playing and that’s against the ToS of these forums? Can’t defend the game? Weird.

I think some characters could need some balancing, but I don’t think it is beyond broken. Like I think the Ice guy Kevin that’s his name right? he seems a little underwhelming to me, but it could be I just don’t know him that well yet.
I have never played a game were pvp has been 100 percent balenced and there will never be one. even if you gave everyone the same weapon but change the look and name of it a bet you someone will say this weapon is OP.
Has for balencing i think there done a fairly good job the only op character is galilea.

You could give reasons as to what specifically is problematic, and make this article less slanderous.
Also, the heroes are called Battleborn, not Champions.

Not anymore he is nowhere near as godlike as she was in the beta.
I just played a match where a miko beat her in a pointblack battle. There was no way in hell that would happen in the beta.
Ok she hasnt been nerfed into the ground like say Ambra for example (but then she wasnt nerfed too much people just keep trying to play her the way they could in the beta) but its not far off.
I think you may of just been having a bad game or against a good player as i am pretty sure they havent nerfed her since the beta.
