To be clear I’m blaming the skill not the player. As it currently encourages Amara players to do it that way.
And you keep ignoring that you’re acting like you get punished if you get matched with a fakegrip but it’s no worse for you than getting matched with other builds that won’t help you anymore.
I’m not acting anything I’m just pointing out the logic in OP’s statement. For the record nobody I play with would run Amara in the raid.

If I played in a group with my Amara I wouldn’t run ahead of the group. Seems pretty rude.
I can totally see the appeal with being carried by someone playing something broken, but some people out there want to play as a team. That’s why OP’s statement has logic. It doesn’t have to apply to you or everyone but it can apply.

In the raid I use my speed to outflank and draw fire, giving the team a welcome breather.

I use a low-level elemental grenade at my feet for the same result, FYI. So for anyone worried they’ll take away fakegrasping, just start a new character, avoid xp as much as you can, get to sanctuary, and boom, access to grenade shop with stash.
The grenade method is at least tied to ammo, but yeah, don’t expect mach 5 Amaras to disappear with fakegrasp’s removal. (There’s also elemental AoE guns, there’s a video kicking around on reddit where a dude did the burger delivery challenge flawlessly with mindfulness, snowdrift relic, and a maliwan melter pistol)
Generally speaking, you don’t deserve a replacement for losing an exploit.

Like I said… you’re not going to like it.
If you read my original post, I’m primarily a siren player… I prefer to play Amara in BL3. I have no reason to want to ruin her.

I would rather they just leave this aspect of hers alone, since I have my doubts they would give us anything in return if they did this.
I don’t really get people who say I main such and such character and I’m okay with them being nerfed and being weaker.

You can go ahead and not bother replying if you’re going to be condescending. There is no need for all vault hunters to be equal in mediocrity. They should be buffing the others to get them closer to Amara, not bring her down.
As its easily mitigated with a low self damage; and it already procs elemental projector on skill use(driver com), this doesnt “bring her down to mediocrity” the only thing it loses is “ase” bonuses which are already smaller than her own annointments which are useful during skill use.
Fixing this exploit would also hurt gamma fl4k’s that are exploiting that skill aswell
They arent buffing the others though. Easier to bring Amara down.
Well they should, because these games are about finding and using OP builds with characters. It’s ■■■■■■■ boring to make everyone suck equally.
You’re talking about making an entire set of annointments useless for her or much worse anyways…I don’t like to use the Phasecast or Phaseslam ones unless I’m against a boss. Cooldowns are too long, mostly Phaseslam is too long, and of course Phasecast is a force upon use. With more skill points available I’d probably be okay with using phasecast more regularly, since you could potentially reach the blue tree capstone that way and proc annointments more easily that way when you need to.
Its the fact she can proc her anointments and skills for no cost fl4k has to use a charge of rakk attack to achieve this.
