Gearbox is very much aware of this issue, and have been working on a major game update. The timeline for release is unclear as it depends on not just when the update is ready but when it gets certified by both Sony and MS for their respective platforms. Since this patch is likely more substantial than the previous one, certification may also take a little longer.

Meanwhile, all I can suggest is if you are playing co-op, or switching your console between on-line and off-line, make sure you allow time for the game to fully save (vault icon) and then maybe a bit more (for behind-the-scenes stuff) before fully exiting the game and shutting down your XBox. (I am aware that players who only play solo have also been hit with the same problem; it’s likely that there is more than one scenario under which the bug happens)

So far this has not happen to me. but I have not log in and play the game today 10/03/2019, I think for safety sake, I’m going stop playing the game for the next 30 days. And go back to plalying BL2 and World of Tanks. I will check back in 30 day see if this has be fix. Really see no point in going forward with game play, and getting Legendary wepons and then poof Item are gone. due to save issue (power outage) good luck to you all. Note: customer service at Gearbox can not restore the missing weapons that were in your bank. that date is not stored on servers. It video game who need this type of stress from a video game.

I’ve been playing solo and not had an issue. I suspect as long as you make sure you fully back out to the initial splash screen before quitting, solo play should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, but who want put alot of effort into this game and one little mistake by me or a power outage and poof , all you guns in the bank are gone. Not me. I do not have this issue in BL2 or in WOTM. I think I will just wait, but suspect it may be a non fixiable issue. due to current save state of the game. Announcement of a patch and hotfix just dropped. The patch includes a fix for bank issues.

Well that is welcome, The question now is what did gearbox do to fix the issue?
“Addressed a reported issue where some players’ inventory would not be saved in their bank”
Do we now have a proper save and quit from within the game and at each of loading screens

What happen if power goes out?.

I think I will just monitor the forum for a couple days. Better to be safe than well you know.

I was fully expecting it to be a game update and not just a hotfix. At least it’s definitely been addressed now. Fingers crossed, for good.

They are releasing both a game update and a hotfix today, so they combined the announcement and notes. A little unusual, but practical.

I’ve had my Vault nerfed twice as well. 70 + unique L vl 50 Legies. Hope this fix thing works cause I just feel defeated at this point. Haven’t played since. :crossed_fingers:

well its a step in the right direction they have addressed it but it might not be fixed yet we will have to see after the patch but i hope the problem is solved so that i can use my bank again with out having to worry about losing all of my items

My bank just got wiped clean. This happened AFTER the update. I’ve never had any problem with it before.

Am I the only one whose skill Guerilla in the mist lasts for 5 secs and not 6s ? Don’t even have time for two reloads with a magnum…

It just a video game anyway I may just never come back to it. Remember a video game is supposed to be fun and entertaining and not produce stress. If it does walkway from it. Again I’m not sure this is fixable and gearbox can never return your weapons in your bank as it data save on your gaming platform.

I always make a save game copy every few days just in case. Actually, me doing that goes way back for the BL series. I am on PC (obviously). Might be worth thinking about if you are on PC as well. Just a thought…
