http://imgur.com/nLFqXRl here’s a link to how’s its running (picture)

as you would see in the imgur pic that my gpu and cpu are not under heavy load, seems like theres a memory leak because it was saying i was getting 2.8 gbs of video ram on low-med settings 1080p which does not make sense at all because its not even a heavy demanding game for graphic wise, games such as gta 5, battlefield 4 does not even get close to 2.5 gbs mem , and + the game looks worst then titles that came out 2012 . just to add more why its badly optimization, i can run overwatch 120 fps on everything set to high-ultra (1.9gbs mem) and that game has way more video settings to pick from in this case battle born has not as much to fettle with and runs like crap.

i am not trashing the beta (game) i actually like it alot and looking forward buying, but if they don’t fix it then its a no go for me i cant handle playing a intense moba fps shooter/slasher below 30 fps .

ps my secs are

Gpu: amd radeon 7950 3gb
Cpu: amd fx 8350 4.2 ghz
ram: 8gb

seems like its only with amd gpus thats cosing it

what program is that? I’ve been trying to find something to check while in game.
my cpu shouldn’t be hitting 70C.

my gpu and cpu are only using 50% of each others power, meaning thats all the game needs to run, so if it only needs 50% why am i getting lower then 30 fps, well that means its badly optimize for amd or the game its self, you’re cpu temp might be high if you’re using a stock fan

On high settings the game looks great in my opinion, I adore the art style. But you indeed are not getting to enjoy that, 30fps is below optimal already… :disappointed: I’m also guessing it’s a problem with AMD compatibility, since my Nvidia/Intel build is having no troubles.

Note: I do also have a more powerful build (had to check some comparisons since I am not familiar with AMD) but yours shouldn’t be performing THAT badly, I feel.

There is definitely a memory leak.
I have a GTX 980 TI with 6 g vram, game starts stuttering like mad after 5 mins of play in PVP.
It is really a shame, I am super enjoying the gameplay. I hope they will fix this at release.
What bothers me is that multiple people have pointed out this issue and that there has been no response from gearbox.
I understand its a beta and a beta is meant to detect these kind of problems. But an acknowledgement from the devs would be nice.
Apparently the problem was already apparent during the closed beta, Tb talks about it in one of his videos.

I really want to buy this game, but as it stands now I am not sure that I will.

I need that program that looks like fraps. as soon as I pause game and try to look at the monitor everything drops. and my cooler is definitely not stock. and as I’ve said in other threads, I have 0 issues with frame drops or studdering, it just starts heating up. Finally got my fan to be quiet though. the profile was still set on my old cooler.

ya thats the same cooler i got, and my stays below 35c all the time, it could be that you need to clean the old thermal paste of and reapply new thermal paste, that can cause why it over heats when playing games. and you can dl

msi afterburner and rivatuner to keep a eye on everything in game if i was you look a video about it

there was no old thermal paste, its a new cpu/cooler. i did use the crap they sent with it bc i couldn’t find my good paste.

ya i would say thats the problem the stuff they give you is crap, if i was you ordering some good thermal paste and replace it and you’re heating problems should be gone

i just replaced it. I found it a week ago, just hadn’t got around to it. time to test.

EDIT: yep, dropped 30 degrees under load. wow. just played a heavy match of meltdown and sitting at 42c.

nice, Glad It Worked out for you

yeah, i was like wtf. this game isn’t that intense. i can do witcher no problem.

Maybe its just the fact that AMD products run poorly on this. This wouldn’t be the first game where AMD gets the ■■■■ end of the optimization stick.

i been looking at other ppl posts and seems like nvidia gpus have the same problems with mem leaks and large dips in fps wise

considering the amount of ram i have, that’s probably why frames are not an issue for me. 16gb on the mobo and 8 in my gpu.

I’m playing on a GTX 980 Ti and it’s been pretty good so far, but I noticed that after straight four hours the game starts to stutter a lot. Perhaps there’s some mini memory leak that’s accumulating during the game, and it started taking its toll after 200+ minutes.

Worth noting is the fact that I had Steam overlay opened for about half an hour. Perhaps it affects it somehow.

16GB on Mobo: 16GB of ram
8GB ram on GPU: 8GB of VRAM

yes thats what I said.

Saying it like you did is very odd though. VRAM and DRAM aren’t the same thing. Not that it matters, but correct terminology in this case saves you from writing longer sentences.

yes, i know there not the same thing. and I write things out as they appear. I don’t conscientiously decide what to write most of the time.
