It kills me to see so much hostility towards gearbox. What happened to being patient and delightful surprises? I’m going to hit level 100 today, and you know what? I’m gonna keep playing because I love this game more than is probably healthy.

People… you gotta chill out. They said they’re working on it, so stop screaming at them and show a little support.

I really like the Rematch option, it makes it a bit easier to play games and you get a chance at a rematch when the game went down to the wire.

It’s great. I’ve been having better matches, as a solo player joining a random group each time would sometimes get frustrating, but thanks to this whenever the group does well, everyone stays and the matches have been more exciting

Hey guys, wanted to flag a slight edit we’re making. In the section above that talks about leaving matches early and how that can, in some cases, break your challenges, we’ve edited it to point out that the type of match (PVP/PVE) doesn’t matter. Leaving early in any mode has the potential to mess things up. I’ve changed it above and we’ll be changing it on Battleborn.com as soon as possible.

As an aside, I’d like to point out this isn’t some cheap ploy to scare people into not leaving matches early, but rather a genuine issue that we wanted to make you all aware of. If it helps alleviate cases of people leaving games early and causing their teammates frustration, then all the better.

There has been no mention at all, in any of the official channels, that indicate lore challeges are being changed. There is also no mention of matchmaking woes across all platforms, other than comments in the forum. I was specifically speaking to official announcements, such as the battleplan. I personally read everything so i have a better understanding of the perspective that the post is from. Though it would be advisable for you to do the same, clearly i cannot hold users to my own standards. You should read the post though, there are many points besides the two you latched to that desperately need to be addressed.

@JoeKGBX @Jythri Hey I’m not calling for immediate action or anything, but would it be possible if you could at least acknowledge that you all know that Galilea’s helix Chaotic Infusion was broken last patch in that in no longer works? Because its a major handicap for her in PvE.

I don’t expect it to be fixed until the next patch, and I don’t expect a date from you. I just wanted to make sure it is in the works some way or another.

For the record, the developers themselves have stated that what they say in these forums are not to be considered “law.” While they represent Gearbox, they do speak for the company as a whole. My post specifically states that I am looking for the deva to acknowledge these issues and give us feedback through official channels. Twitter. Facebook. The battleplan. The places that the general public would pick up information. Hence the sizzle reel idea of new content via youtube.

Clearly, no one that has responded to my post has actually read it. Or they would know my support is with GBX. I’m not saying “whelp l8rz time for @overwatch #blizzrulz” i’m saying that i want a well thought out and detailed prose of the things they are working on, so the community doesnt think they are being ignored. More than half of the threads on this entire forum are members of the community asking when these things will be addressed. Time for them to show up.

Many people here have pointed people to posts that the developers have made and those people will just ignore it and continue to rant and rave about how they are being ignored. These people aren’t here to help fix the game. They are here to stand on a soap box and get attention. Any facts that dispute their argument are ignored because they are inconvenient to their personal crusade. You see enough of these and you start to question the next person who comes along claiming that the developers don’t listen.

I didn’t think it could be done, but you (Gearbox) have managed to make the game worse with the addition of the re-queuing.

What now happens is that people are put back into a game while they’re still looking at the score, then they disconnect leaving their team short one or more people.

Almost every game today has been missing people from one or both sides as a result.

@JoeKGBX You asked on here and on reddit if people wanted the option to re-queue with the group for story and it seems a lot of people do. Someone suggested opting in instead of opting out. I suggest that we have both and people can choose which in the options. What do you think?

This is the official forums of GBX. I think the reason they haven’t said anything is because there isn’t anything new to say. Why should they repeat themselves when the information is already out there? If you won’t take Randy’s word in the Alani thread, then either send him or @JoeKGBX a PM and ask them personally. The reason I didn’t read your full message is because I didn’t have to understand your view: you want something basically written in stone that, yes, things will be changing even though the lead developer has already laid out the team’s plan to do so. What more do you want? Joe has already said that he and the team have to be careful what they say because they don’t want to back themselves into a corner by giving time frames. Randy has not lied to us so far, so I’m inclined to believe him. If those changes he mentioned aren’t implemented within the next few months, then I’ll start to re-evaluate my position. GBX has yet to fail to deliver on a promise, so I’m not worried about this one being swept under the rug or overlooked.

Thats a often occuring glitch^^ We had this little bug in french & spanish already while we usually play the game in english or german. I saw some people say they had it turned to french too, or just little square symbols.

@jestahmostwicked: This forum- and especially comments direct from the devs- is as ‘official’ as you can get. There are caveats: a dev may indicate intention, but actual outcome might be different in-game. Remember that nothing anyone says, anywhere, is 100% certain until it actually goes live on the server. This is just the nature of games.
But in general, if a dev says they are working on something, or that they are looking into an issue, you can take it as fact.
