this kinda goes on the same vein as the Pokemon rip off but taken seriously. there’s something uniquely fun in being short in a fps and with gbx’s desire to make the most varied roster possible i can only see them making another short character. i’m thinking from the UPK or Eldrid faction

Nice.

Lots of non-humanoid designs in there. I really like the 4-legged robot on the far right.

But these may not even be BattleBorn, most of these could be enemy designs.

Looks like a pet class to me based on the position and proximity of the two drawings. Plus is that early concepts for Phoebe to the character’s left and Miko to its right?

Bottom left of the picture for phoebe (, rapiers are a dead giveaway), that’s a parasol and Miko’s eldrid.

I’m thinking there are multiple concepts for both Phoebe and Marquis on that image I see floating swords and top hats with multiple designs…

Also looks like maybe Benedict on the far left (right above the Phoebe art you mentioned) and Ambra to the immediate left of the figure in the bottom right?

Testing to see if that worked. I tried to blow up the image and then also played with the contrast and brightness in the second one. fingers crossed

Unfortunately my own personal experience with the program (GIMP) is limiting me. If someone else has more skill at this, please feel free to manipulate the images :laughing: . What I’ve already posted is sadly about the best I can get right now.

Edit: One of the problems I’m having with adjusting things is that the left side of the screen/image got more light than the right so the right third of the image reacts differently than the rest to any changes.

As to the image itself, I haven’t mentioned yet that I like the guy in the very top left corner. Reminds me of a certain someone (below); and I’d definitely play him/her/it if available.

As a fan of Dishonored, I would love to see a character that can “Blink” I know Phoebe has her teleporting ability “Phasegate” but for me that isn’t enough, what I want to see is short, frequent bursts. Obviously this may sound overpowered, but if you have ever played Dishonored, you will know Corvo can only Blink when he has Mana. So for this to be balanced, this character, let’s call him “Ovroc” has these multiple short Blinks but he has a limited capacity, this capacity can regenerate over time or can be refilled via pickups.

As for weapons, I would love to see the Folding Blade to return with some beautiful animation, much like what Gearbox are currently delivering. The augmentation of the blade could transform it into a Wristbow and the bow shoots out blades. That is just some ideas I was having, not full detail as I doubt they will add another teleporting/blink character, but if they do then I hope he is like Corvo, erm I mean Ovroc.

Also, as a little side note, I have no idea if anyone has picked up on this but in the bottom left of the screen it shows ISIC. I guess he is a transforming class, maybe a defensive and offensive stance. The offensive stance is seen in this image from the latest Gamescom trailer, and the defensive stance can be seen inside the E3 Gameplay Trailer. image

Thank you. Try slowing the trailer down, you see quite a lot of things that Gearbox were subtly sneaking in. The new character Mellka? She can blink? Hold up, do you have any idea of what videos show her blinking? Need to compare to Corvo’s blink.
