So there’s no way to get the new skins and taunts without spending money?
I’m sorry but that is disgusting to the loyal play base that have stuck with the game.
I personally have been grinding for coins for when the new skins drop and I feel quite honestly offended by this decision.
I’ll be stepping away from this game now as the one thing that was keeping me playing has ended up being used for monetary gain

On the other hand, it’s the issue with leaks… When something briefly appeared where it shouldn’t have appeared! Leaks snowball very quickly, and often put developpers’s and anyone involved with communication’s backs to the wall.
This was quite rigtly illustrated by the "other"post :slight_smile:

First i find out fallout 4 is only going to have 2 and a half dlcs and now skins and taunts i have to pay extra for to get?
Please at least give us the chioce and dont care if its 20000 in game coins per skin.

I’m saving 270k in game since the first day to buy those skins, where I live dollar is really expensive, $5 for a skin is 20 in my currency, so its a lot.

So if I want to buy the 26 skins calculating here I need to give more $60, buy the game again, that’s nuts, I already paid for the game and the season pass.

I was really looking foward to use those skins… if you can’t exchange game currency for platinum I need to leave right now to not be more disappointed.

Also clarification needs to be given here. The post mention skins and taunts being available in the DLC packs (which are part of the season pass) but does the season pass get these skins/taunts as well or do we need to purchase these platinum to get these new skins/taunts?

As far as return date? Soon. Nothing definite, but we’re looking at a matter of weeks. Nothing crazy.

What else could the Battleborn Marketplace hold? That’s up to you! In addition to awesome skins and taunts, we’re also exploring convenient ways players can add bank spaces, loadouts, or boost their XP and credit earnings that do not affect actual gameplay. We don’t have a timeframe yet, but we are interested in your feedback. Let us know what you’d like to see in the Marketplace in the forums.

I truly hope the bank spaces and loadouts doesn’t mean bank space and loadouts beyond the 199/9 maximum in-game. I’d be incredibly upset being upable to fully enjoy all the items and build ideas within the game after having bought the full game + premium. I shouldn’t have to buy more than the base game to enjoy, well, the base game. Please, if you allow ways to expand bank space, allow ways to expand bank space that don’t involve the use of real money.

Thanks. I’ve never used mine (got it from the bonus DDlx packs), but have started playing Orendi and it seems like a natural fit.

Joe I am going to try and be as sincere and constructive as I can here. At the very least you can skip the following text and just answer the question in bold at the bottom.
While I’m sure the end results will eventually leave us with the game we all want I’m, for the first time, finding my trust faltering because resources were dedicated to a cash shop when the PC player base for your game at of the time of this post is sitting at 964 players online. 964 players for a game that’s just over a month old and has already seen a 40% off sale.
I know your hands are tied on a few things because of 2K, but how can trust grow when your PC fan base is losing steam because there’s nothing fresh to draw in new players or get old ones to come back? I can honestly say for the first time in my gaming life/hobby/whatever I’m actually angry I supported this game and I’ve put 160 hours into it!

So my ultimate question to you and the GB team is, what do you feel is the most important thing you need to address with this game and its community right now? What is #1 on your team’s list?

I’m praying that I won’t get a generic response to the extent of “good things, trust us, just wait, etc”. Because I waited and I have to be honest, I don’t think the timing on this one comes close to “good”.

Trying to think of things that I consider “cosmetic”. All I could come up with for now is titles? Buying them outright seems underwhelming, as they’ve always been something that requires some form of in-game effort, so maybe purchasing new challenges (or packs thereof, for characters or factions?) that will reward titles/icons?

That fits my definition of cosmetic.

They are selling in game, but with another currency. They not lied, just mislead us. Made us speculate we were able to buy with the in game currency that exist at the time.

So indeed the reason why T2 skins weren’t released was because we had to actually buy them, couldn’t they just be honest and straightfoward with us and just tell us that from the begginning ? Why create so many problems and fuel so much hate from it just to keep it up wraps until now, i really don’t see the point in that to be frank.

Anyway, still seems a bit “funky” - trying not to use more obtuse language here - that DD and Season Pass holders still need to grind for skins and taunts after paying for them considering the new marketplace changes.

Please oh please only add cosmetic stuff, do not go for the booster kind of thing … that’s treading into F2P territory and unless you do plan on going F2P, that would ruin the game.

I don’t mind bank slots or loadouts, those are welcome but if anything i would encourage to add more customization, custom taunt lines, custom skill effects etc

As I said in the other post, it seems plain clear to me :slight_smile:

On top of that, the first five Battleborn DLC Packs will have EVEN MORE skins and taunts that are only unlockable by playing the Story Operations and will not be sold individually in the Marketplace.

So, not related to platinum according to what we are given at this time :slight_smile:
