Nice, I am liking all the love for incursion (in my opinion the most fun mode). It would have been nice to see an alani nerf to get more supports in the game, but I am ok wrecking people a while longer! That being said the most disappointing thing is that there is still no change on lore requirements…anything (maybe 25 to 5 kills of certain charactees, getting 2 or 3 double kills with Toby’s ultimate) would be better than what is up now. I beg of you to change these really soon because I love the lore but am really depressed that I can’t even get close to unlocking some of them…
I agree that games SHOULD be made with financial support but without financial influence. Unfortunately this isn’t the way the entertainment industry works, I wish it was but its not. Many movies have been ruined for this exact same reason and some books, make no mistake video game are in the entertainment industry so they are not exempt from these tactics.
I’m really conflicted by this whole thing I hate when publishers push things onto developers that they would never normally do. I think this may be why GBX has had a hard time telling us about this stuff they didn’t want to do it but 2k forced it on them.(i could be wrong purely speculation) I’ve seen movies that i was really excited about suffer the same fate. But as much as i dislike 2k i don’t want to blame GBX for this bc they have created a great game that is something different than anything else right now.

Im disappointed, that is all i can say honestly, thought tier 2 skins would be available in game without spending real money. Makes me regret buying the game, why? The player base has dropped terribly and now charging for slightly different textures? Wish i couldve washed away my borderlands glee and saw what this was before buying it and the season pass. I wonder how much i can trade this in for towards overwatch, at least there i can grind for all of the items.
Ok actual question, are the season pass skins actually going to look different? Or is it more pallet swaps? I just cant shake this feeling that tier 3 skins are going to be terribly overpriced considering that you have to spend at least 5$ to get a tier 2 skin

I will reserve judgement until I actually see the update implemented into the game.
… that said… I don’t have any money to give. I would if I could, and it breaks my heart that I can’t. Hopefully, they’ll give us an option to use credits alternatively with platinum. Seeing another player with a cosmetic I want but can’t afford would depress me more than incite jealousy.
But… as I stated, I will wait patiently and decide how I feel then. Gearbox, I’m still standing by you.

So the so-called “Tier 2” Skins and Taunts are only acquired through purchase? Seriously?
I expected that we’d get those “themed/Tier 2” skins and taunts for FREE through in-game means, and then the fancier “Tier 3” stuff as payed additions.
So…after paying $75 for the Digital Deluxe edition, I’m stuck with palette swaps as the only cosmetic changes to my characters unless I spend minimum ~$4 per cosmetic upgrade?
I’m disappointed and slightly upset at the turn of events.

Wow, a lot of over reactions to this. This update will in no way affect my gaming whatsoever. I may even buy a skin or 2 if I think they are that awesome. I paid full price like many other people, and I got a full price game in return. These are extras. Nothing more. Extras people put work into, and should be compensated. I’m looking forward to more updates and options for this game.

Judging by their behavior thus far I am going to go out on a limb here and say the answer to this question is no.
If I could make a suggestion @JoeKGBX, would it be possible for you plant the idea to allow skins and taunts to also be unlocked with the season pass keys?
Since they are returned once you purchase them in game this sort of creates a situation where a few months from now I could be sitting on a pile of useless keys.
That would lessen the sting for those who feel they have already paid a premium and give a purpose to the keys beyond buying characters.

Most people don’t consider Battleborn to be worth full price.
As of now we’ve had so any issues, bugs, balancing, matchmaking, etc. so we’ve all essentially bought a broken game that is slowly, and i do mean slowly, getting fixed.
Although I haven’t had but maybe 10 or so game breaking moments and issues with matchmaking, the majority of the BB community have had nothing but issues.
So much is going on with this game and after getting disappointed week after week because things aren’t being fixed or being touched upon that they’re working on it other than “we are working on many things”… it all builds up and you get frustrated from all of it.

For me, it’s the bugs, glitches, matchmaking issues, my husband can’t share the season pass content even though we play together on the same system, more skins/etc. I have to buy with real money, balancing concerns, etc.
That’s why I am so frustrated with Gearbox and 2K.
It just keeps getting worse for me.
EDIT: OH! And let’s not forget everything wrong with split screen!!

I’m certainly leaning this way as well. If this actually is the case, then this is a huge slap in the face. When you pay premium price, you expect premium content. Apparently 2K has different ideas.

This is not good. I understand paying for cosmetics. But you should have it that you can still get it through loot packs. Maybe put platinum coins in the loot packs. Tier 1 is free, tier 2 could be both real money and/or credits in game. And tier 3 is real money with a very low chance of getting them in loot packs.
This would make everyone happy. Done.

love the new skin and not just a color swap on phoebe and kleese but not caldarious and Whiskey Foxtrot they feel more like color swaps Whiskey Foxtrot mostly . sorry 
is it possible to actually change the character cg model of the heroes as well as a new skin or theme ? that will be more appealing

Still curious if loot packs have a chance to acquire these new purchasable cosmetic items. Comparisons to another contemporary game forthcoming…
tier 3 skins will supposedly change the character a lot compared to all the other skins. Most likely complete new looks.
