Is anyone having authentication issues tonight? At about 12:45ish AM 6/27 I got repeated authentication failures. Tried rebooting steam on the off chance that might matter, but no dice. I assume it’s just something that will sort itself out in time.

Late reply. If it’s still doing it or you have persistent trouble logging in, try opening a support ticket with Gearbox.
It may be that the Steam sale’s high traffic is interfering with servers, or it may have been because of Steam Tuesday depending on your time zone. (Steam does maintenance on Tuesdays that interferes with online games for brief periods.)

It’s fine today - perhaps as you suggest all the extra steam sale racing game business caused some collateral problems.
