The only thing that needs to be fixed is the fact that you can bounce up and down on Rath’s head during his ult in my opinion
If he lands the knock up with the silence you will die. Unless your teammates are ready to save you in less than a second he will kill you and there is nothing you can do about it. That’s the only thing I really have a problem with.
Knock up, silence, ult, but that’s as expected. El Dragón can do the exact same thing with his 3 skills and guarantee a kill almost all the time when he unlocks his ult.

I’ve experienced this numerous of times, it’s super annoying.
No one else’s ult is doing that much damage.

I would like Gearbox to release the meta data on characters for public viewing, as well as how they are assessing them. If nothing else to calm down the nerfers. Its not like any of the math involved can be proprietary, and who knows, maybe some of us fans can point out better modeling techniques for faster balancing.

Toby’s damage needs a nerf. It’s so huge that players don’t even use his ult because it does bad damage in comparison. Which means that Toby’s main attack does more damage than a ult, how is that not OP?
Reyna needs a nerf for her slow helix. She basically perma slow you at higher level, while inflicting increased damage to you to boot. Longest slow ingame. Too long slow.
Whiskey foxtrot with a good enough aim can kill Mellka in 2sec even if she uses her escape abilities right away when he’s appearing, you just die in the air. The dude can kill me 6 time more than his whole team, how is that even close to balanced if he’s 24 times more powerful than any of his teammates?
Benedict’s ability to have his rocket follow you needs to go. Why not an auto aim bot while we’re at it? That a huge no. Where’s the skill in that, seriously.

Except El Dragon’s is alot harder to catch opponents. If you are on PS4 anyways, that stop time animation is just the worse and I can never get it right because of it.
On Xbox, and I have no problems. If the enemies running, and you’re unable to use Clothesline, yeah it’s nearly impossible, but otherwise it’s fairly easy. It’s essentially the same as Rath’s combo, since it has a Knock Up and Slow, but is combined with an AOE and a stun as opposed to just massive damage.
It goes to say pretty much everything in multiplayer games needs to be nerfed.
This is how the world is. We like easy kills: most only think of KDA and not thinking of the other man if we are healers; or listening to Nova that our minions are getting crushed and we need to defend them; or thinking that turrets are big help. I had a game that we have a higher KDA average yet we lost because the other party is efficiently pushing the minions and harassing with the skirmishers like their Caldarius to draw an entire team away from mid in Overgrowth (bait himself).
In reality: in Tekken or SF, some players try to adapt to their character’s play. I am not saying I am good, well I suck at fighting games, but from what I see, even the low tier characters - WHICH are somehow known as LOW by the developers themselves - get to act like be high tier because of their users. Then results to that character being bumped up in the tier because some bonjwa have discovered a new thing. Heck, Kazuya’s OP doryaaaa spam has not been nerfed in T5 afaik (but I may be wrong now).
I am not good, but if I often get killed, it means I suck. I do not need to blame the game or the developers to make adjustments. Be good. Practice with all the characters then choose your main. Nerf requests are excuses for our own lack of skill.
tobys railgun moves to slow to hit jack so if you nerf the damage of it then he wont be used at all if anything he needs a buff to the speed of his railgun and ult.
Yeah i think they said something about fixing “juggling” in general, just floating people above your head. Probably will go along with reducing the ability to quick-melee spam, some characters can just float you across the map with quick melee. These are mechanic issues that certain BB benefit more from than others, so not specifically a “nerf”
The floating - yeah, Rath does this easily with the shockwave then ult under it, most specially when the other is at a wall or corner, ex: Overgrowth thrall area
Someone here is missing the goal of this thread. Also, how about firing through your shield? That’s the whole point to avoid it being too slow. Toby is “territorial” for a reason. Toby is nowhere near weak right now x).
Whilst Toby isn’t weak (he’s quite strong in many respects and can do well in matches) his ultimate is weak and you’re lucky if you can kill something with it (next to no chance of double kills to complete his lore as can be seen in other threads about this). Also his shield disappears in only two shots from Marquis, so getting increased damage from it is very difficult with him on the opposition as no sooner is the shield deployed it’s destroyed.
toby is by far one of the weakest battleborn on console i can count on one hand the number of times ive had trouble with him also firing through his shield only grants 25% bonus which is still slow enough to dodge.
Toby is purely a territorial character and I think so because he has this heal thing also behind his shield. His profile page is different though, because what does being “adorable” do, like to attract minions or sniper fire? Toby’s railgun eat up squishies when charged. He has this burst damage (the charged fire, burst is what you call with massive non-lethal damage in League of Legends to make heroes turn back) that makes the other battleborn go back to recharge shields/health. He quickly dispatches thralls with easy criticals to the head and the shield disrupts purely-minion pushes at some point. BUT, I have seen a couple of games that he “hauled ass and roasted noobs” having a very high KDA because the noobs were always at the mid running around while he sat on the perch and sniped, at Overgrowth.

Outside of the fact that Toby is clearly not weak (but that yes, his ulti has pretty much no point to be used), I think you’re missing completely the point here.

I disagree with that assessment of his main attack, which is fine, though only when you don’t have trouble staying behind his shield for extra damage (ie no Marquis taking it down with 2 shots). On its own it’s not as powerful and takes time to charge (the quick shot version is quite weak). His ult really needs sorting though.
@Martok He was joking.I listed over 20 characters deserving a nerf, obviously joking. I think every character right now is fairly balanced and the game needs buffs more than anything at this point. I said for anyone to add for characters if they feel they should be nerfed, which he did to go along with the joke.
