Would be nice if there was at least an option to sync your progress to your shift account such that platform switchers didnā€™t have to start all over again and lose all the things theyā€™ve earned or bought (as option, because some might want to do so).

But there are probably contractual reasons against that.

On topic.

  • There is one update coming (safe guess: containing bug fixes and more overpriced skins and taunts)
  • Even with no update or support, the servers can still be up and running
  • We could have more lore entries via the blog/social network

We have no clue as to how their schedule work.

Basically, all DLC and the Winter update were completed by December.

Then began the Trial Edition + Supercharge update. Letā€™s assume they started in January. It took 5 months to get it done, while at the same time managing the release of the 3 remaining dlc, battleplans, twitch, events and hotfixes.

So since May, they have been working on the next update. At each update, the team is reduced (or something like that). Itā€™s been three months now. And we have no clue at all. There was never a promise of a Season 2 anyway. And Iā€™m pretty amazed 2K is still allowing more development on this.

On PS4, the few times I do still play, the pop is still pretty solid and quick. New names. My heart goes out to the PC master race though and our steam numbers on pc are just wow.

If I can say one thing, itā€™s my completely astonishment that a game as low quality and ā€œobviously worseā€ (can i be any more subjective, haha) such as Paladins can flourish on PC while a game like BB stales out.

Is it a psychological factor? I feel like a thesis can be written on the mental aspects of choosing a video game to invest time into.

From what I understand, MM in Paladins is very hit and miss as well even with their large pop. So if their MM is whack, and their gameplay wreaks of ā€œFTP twitch shooter unashamed OverWatch cloneā€, then how can something like that flourish when BB which isnt even like OW and is far more polished, sinks so so low on PC - worldwide?
