They should go full-on Oprah: “You get a new character, you get a new character - everyone gets a new character! New characters for everybody!”
Omg,I like where this is going :3
Shouldn’t the event be live right now? Why do I still see the same prices of faction loot packs in the Marketplace?
@orionwannabe The values displayed on the gear card are not the base values. In fact there is a min/max range a stat can roll as well as a major stat range and a minor stat range. I haven’t figured out exactly how they got those percentages when I made adjustments to my Gear Search app data but you aren’t going to be able to take balance adjustments like these and directly apply them to your gear stats.
Wondering same thing
Yea I’m looking for that too. Or that news pop up
Supposed to start at 8 am PT which, according to my clock, was 14 minutes ago. Maybe try restarting the game?
I’ve restarted three times. Nothing.

For some reason, they are using PST instead of PDT, like a vast majority of the Pacific Time Zone. It would have been nice if they’d said PST or PDT for clarification, since PT can mean either of those. Just gotta wait 40 minutes.
Lootapalooza when???
It’s definitely late…again
It’s not late, technically. They’re using standard time instead of daylight savings time so it’s an hour later than most people expected.
8am PST is 11am EST. Since it’s past 11am it’s late.
But 8am PST is 12pm EDT, which you are almost certainly using. Pretty much the entire US uses daylight savings time, which is why it’s weird they decided not to.
But daylight savings ended a while back…I’m confused now.
Lol
No. DST takes place during the Summer/Autumn (it was implemented to give a longer work day because the sun would stay out “later”). Standard time is during the Spring/Winter. This is why you “Spring forward” (enact DST) and “Fall back” (eliminate DST).
It’s a common misconception, but a misconception nonetheless.
It’s Thomas Jefferson’s fault, but I think he did it as a joke that got way out of hand.
I always heard it as Ben Franklin’s idea. Eh, we Americans have a cult mentality with the founding fathers where we have this strange obsession with giving them credit for things they most likely had no influence or interest in whatsoever (like the myth that Thomas Jefferson created mac’n’cheese).
