Realised when I saw your post that I am going to miss the live version, and will have to catch up with all the news on Saturday… oh well, life happening beats the alternative.
Yeah, spotted that post - thanks for doing this!
@wisecarver
For Renegade Gold the major scoring potential comes form the last [hase of the mission.
Run a full skill damage gear build for kleese and set his 4 rift network up on the south west platform for the first wave. Between the first and second keep one enemy alive and set up for the second wave.
For the second and third wave set them up in the north west platform.
The rest of the mission is finding as many extra lives as possible to get as many bonus score nodes from Chests and Hylis.
this method turns the game into a Ronco 4000
JUST SET IT AND FORGET IT
itdoes make getting gold fairly easy good luck
Thanks, did it earlier with Kleese and still got Silver but I used 3 rifts.
Update: Success, thanks to a few of the peeps here, names withheld to protect the innocent.
They gave us an actual date for the first story DLC and ppl still complain… SHOCKER!!!..
I want a súper special Pax code
oh dear sucks to not be special.
Today i see a lot of new ppl!! Lvl10-
It would still be an ultimate, and the time it takes to destroy them if you could would perform counter play. It would just be a form of interuption, like you can do with alot of Ults like Orendi’s, Thorns, Rath, Toby, etc. It’s just stupid that he can throw a grid into your zone and it’s either wait until the destroy or blindly run through them in hopes of getting a power play against him and if he has others, his team.
Then you would need to interupt him the moment he throws it. Not after its been laid out. Same goes with every other character. You have to cancel the attack before it happens.
When you’ve done things right, people won’t be sure you’ve done anything at all…
Rath, Ghalt, and Isic are three characters on the top of my head that can be interrupted mid Ult.
Never seen it happen. But I guess I just haven’t been playing it right. I still think Ernest ult is fine the way it is
Deande can too.
Should I even ask if there’s going to be competitive play soon or not?
picks and bans
team captains
we have every reason to believe thats a forsure
but when, is another matter entirely
Waiting for the next big patch is becoming painful, c’mon Gearbox, I need it…to survive D’=
One of the things I look forward to each month is that patch along with the scavenger hunt for hidden nerf/buffs to things in the game… it is something that I live for, you guys.
Can we pleeeeeease get an estimate of when to expect it? The suspense is LITERALLY killing me.
I disagree.
Build Thumper Turrets and Temporal Traps at every opportunity.
Stinger turrets set off the clock without killing. Use the Thumpers and kill the Ads in between the volleys of rockets. You’ll kill faster, gaining more score according to the “kill clock”.
Also, the most important thing is grabbing “bonus score” as it popcorns out from the main bosses. You can double or even triple your final score by gathering those elusive dots.
The more lives you have when the dots pop out, the more dots. So, the higher your score, the more lives you have (one life per 10,000) the more dots pop out, the higher your final score.
Open all the boxes because they can contain lives. Which again leads to more bonus score.
And, they frequently contain “score” spheres as well, obviously.
Note: The main boxes on each level, the double sided red boxes or the big trees also popcorn out Bonus score when you open them. I think those cap out at 10 score per box.
Don’t forget to grab as much of that as possible too.
While I agree with thumper turrets, why temporal traps and not flashbang or inferno? The former will stun (blind) your enemy while the later will damage them and cause them to focus on the trap. Also, flashbangs will damage shields.
Temporal and flash are usually personal preference. Either or is fine as they do not hurt enemies.
They are saying not to use inferno because you get more points the faster you kill an enemy once they are hit. Because the inferno trap does small damage (I.e. Hits them and starts the kill counter time), you likely won’t get a fast kill against any enemy that is tagged by the inferno.
Ideally, you want to tag and focus one enemy at a time as a team to get the fastest time to kill possible on EACH enemy. Inferno trap can interfere with that.
At least, that’s my understanding of the mechanics. I could be totally wrong.
Thanks. That makes sense.
Got any of that kid ultra wiki page
