not every week can be super epic, especially since they are preparing for such a big update right now. and even so, quad XP, lootpocalypse, upcoming stream and new PVP queue seems pretty un-pathetic to me

Let’s be honest about it, most people aren’t going to jump into PVE until tomorrow when the Lootpocalypse begins.

That means until the end of the day you can still enter the public PVE and have a good chance to end up playing a game by yourself as the game starts up 10 seconds after searching and not finding a teammate. [/snark]

Yes, but… then why limit it to public if I will still play the missions by myself anyways most of the time? The only explanation I can see here - server load. They want more people on the same one than 10 different people playing alone on 10 different ones.

Maybe, or maybe it was just easier for them to implement on the public servers. It’s really moot at this point.

I admit though, quad xp not being available on private matches probably would have been a good thing to mention on the OP.

Is there any chance that gear like CC reduction and Cooldown reduction could get a little boost? Because currently I’ve found they seem to be largely underused as they make only a marginal impact. 7% off a 15 second cooldown is barely a single second off, and 0.2 seconds off a 2 second stun (the highest CC reduction gear I currently have) is hardly worth bothering with.

I’m pretty sure there’s generous rounding on the Cooldown reduction effects, if you math it out it always seems to take more time off than it ought to.

Funny, I haven’t noticed that at all - I’ve been playing Reyna a lot recently and her legendary lore gear seems to do almost nothing.

If Alani isn’t Emulan by birth then how similar physiologically is she to the Emula? Are they also hominids or are they more akin to some form of aquatic life?
Also, will the October update add any voice lines for non-dlc characters for when they spot or kill a relevant dlc character? I’d love to hear some Benedict/Ernest dialog and the like.

It’s not an event
It’s to rectify a mistake from last weekend.
The original X3 exp was only 24 hours

Yes, I understand. What I don’t understand is why it’s during two weekdays, and ends on the day that the increased loot drops begin. It’d make a lot more sense to have increased exp on the weekend, and I’m pretty sure everybody would appreciate it if they decided to do it at the same time as the increased loot drops.

I think they didn’t want the two of them to overlap because
1 they might be pressured to run it for all three days
2 it would be easier to switch off before the event as apposed to mid event
3 they want people to focus on each event for what it is
4 technical reasons the two event can’t overlap

all those are entirely speculation but it’s better than nothing. Just like Thursday/Friday, better than nothing. :slightly_smiling_face:
