This kind of thing is hard to get an estimate on. I’m just happy they are doing something about it. Actually, scratch that. I don’t care about it. Score does very little about the actual game so if they need to focus on the new DLC or BB30 then I’m fine with that.

I know that for some companies, “We’re looking into it” is PR-talk for “shut up and go away while we count your money”. But Gearbox, in my experience, has never been like that. For them (again, in my experience of playing since BL1), “We’re looking into it” means “We are actively investigating probable causes and will roll out a fix as soon as we have correctly identified the problem, designed a solution, and tested that solution as thoroughly as we can.”

Case in point: graphics issues in the XB1 Handsome Collection port that turned out to be a subtle bug causing a time out during certain rendering operations, that had not been an issue in the 360 version.

Having forcefully removed half my hair debugging some pretty obscure intermittent software problems myself, I’m obviously inclined to be quite sympathetic to the developers about such things. (And also insanely glad I never had to deal with server-client-transport layer issues on top of everything else.) So perhaps I’m a little more forgiving/accommodating - whatever. I guess all I’m asking is that you give them a chance, and try not to assume the worst based on the way other companies behave.

Well, gearbox tend to not release dates for fixes much in advance, as things can change, and other things may need to take priority.

Unfortunately, I didn’t think to save a screenshot of the title. But it was definitely there. I thought they would for sure announce the character, so it didn’t cross my mind. I just figured whoever made the post had forgotten to add in their info/concept art.

I think it’s a big problem for new players because no score, no medal, no unlocking characters. Maybe new players see a score and I don’t. Hope so.

Have you seen the ATR DLC skins? Those certainly aren’t just color swaps. And some of them are just down right better than the ones in the store.

Admittedly it only applies if you don’t buy the edition with all the characters unlocked. If you don’t, to unlock Ghalt the requirement is to “earn a silver rating on all story missions on Advanced difficulty.”

I heard rumor that more bank slots would be coming “soon”. Is this still on the radar, say for the DLC next week? Because I’ve had to start trashing max-roll items that I would rather be keeping to make room for max-roll items that I want to keep that are rarer.

Not when a rumor, Jythri said they’re coming now that character select loads instantly. Like, no more limits. Bank slots and loadout are being kept equalish (so you don’t feel creatively restrained) so one goes up, so does the other
