LOVING FL4K!!! However, there was one thing I noticed and has been quite … annoying over time. Can ya’ll make the pets make noise less frequently? There are times that Jabber gets so riled up it’s constantly making noise and it’s getting quite annoying.

I almost wonder if he’s telling me to “touch” him (Jabber) or something. And yes, I identify Jabber as a ‘him’.

On another note… when Jabber picks up a barrel and throws it… is there a way to make it so I don’t suffer damage from it to? There are times where I’m shotgunning around and then suddenly getting blown up cause of Jabber chunkin barrels at me randomly. I’ve died so many times simply because of that. I mean… great that he can rez me, but … wow.

Yeah, I’m hearing you about the pet noises, the little Jabber dude is constantly making noises and can get a little much when trying to enjoy the sounds of the area.
It’s started to actually really irritate me now, if I could, I’d switch off the pet noises. Don’t mind hearing it now and then, but almost sounds like it constantly going off with it’s screeching. Making noises ever 3-5 seconds.

Agreed. They get a little annoying after a while. Another issue I have is when they decide to just walk into you and start pushing you across the floor. Especially when trying to use the Slots at Moxxi’s, and the fated grenade appears and the pet decided to block your path and boom. Downed.

Man 100 percent agree. I love the game and love playing the beastmaster, but please, for the love of god, turn off the pets noises. It is driving me insane. Every 3 seconds it sounds like little dude is puking something up. Its ESPECIALLY bad because I play with headphones on. It’s like someone constantly vomiting in my ear.

I mute the game while in vending machines. That is where i notice it most. It just gets so irritating, that i mute it with my tv remote.

Couldn’t agree more. I really hope they make it an option to turn pet noises off, or just less frequent at the very least.

I’m glad there are others with this opinion. It is very annoying. Please give us the option of disabling the pet sounds or patch it so it is much less frequent.

I was coming here to make a post like this lol

I do not use the best pet for my build because of the constant annoying noise. I was hoping they had maybe added an option after adjusting Troy’s… noises. Annoying sounds kind of detract from the overall experience.

I’m kind of confused why stuff like this gets overlooked. Who wants to listen to the same few annoying noises over and over in a constant loop. I like how much sound adds to the game so I cant just play with volume off. If I end up dying a few times and go into my inventory to switch things up, I really don’t need constant JABBERING while I am pondering , so I use Broodless. She also has a habit of running in front of me and getting in the way with dat caboose.

Pet Classes always have to have some shortcomings due to being run by code instead of a person, but I think these are issues that can be addressed if they’re brought to GB’s attention.

That is really the only time the pet noises bother me. Open any vending machine and it’s nonstop pet noises.

This has my vote as well. Loving this game but holy hell do these sounds get irritating…and I hate having to mute it because the game has great ambiance otherwise

this is the only reason I don’t use the jabber, I can’t stand the constant noise he :wink: makes. it definitely needs to be toned down.

I would love to be able to mute the pets… I also wish they would stand BEHIND me when not in combat so I can loot chests and read gun stats on the ground, etc…

The people complaining about pet noises. Are you on consoles using surround sound or playing with a headset on? I’ve not noticed the sounds hardly at all on PC.

Yeah, i’m playing with surround headset on the X but I also hear them on TV but yeah is surround too there.

It’s always the worst when I’m checking my bank. The constant background noise of the Jabber is so gross. It sounds like… lets just say I often expect to close the menu and turn around to see the Jabber and Pippie doing unfortunate NSFW things to each other.

I have started muting the TV when I’m in Sanctuary. With the pet noises and constant NPC yapping, Sancutary is aural hell.

I play on the PC, UkyoSonoda. Jabber never shuts up.
