Before I start playing

Hello,

I am one of those people who actually played the Beta, Loved it , and never bought the actual game.

I had made up my mind that i would but then didn’t . Now i want to come back. So can i ? I mean how are things for new players

I used to main Montana and Duo lanes with MIKO. I knew was their to take damage survive and well not chase kills. It wasn’t complicated. Oh and yes during Beta there used to be this Dual Sword guy … OP broken. I would use montanas charge to run away from him.

Things were simple. Now i have heard maps have been changed and stuff. How much ? Is it still fun. I don’t want to play overwatch cause that game is way more of a shooter and less moba.

And Paragon is becoming a full time TDM thing with whole teams reaching mid lane to Gank on 1 or 2 people and then disappearing.

So are the MOBA elements still relevant in Battleborn, is it still like the beta that i loved ?

Last but not least what should i learn before starting so that i don’t end up feeding. (Do you guys call it feeding ? )

The game has changed considerably since the beta. It’s still very fun but I recommend running through the story to get some gear and to develop some characters before jumping into versus.

Versus can be pretty rough if you don’t have a friend to play with but feels really good when your team just so happens to work well together.

For less experienced players it is best to find a group to play with currently the player base is mostly veterans at the game and the veterans are not going to play nice most of the time.

Read tips on the characters you want to play so you know what “works” for the character.

Know that not all of the characters are available, you will need to unlock them. Most of the characters have 2 ways of unlocking them (By leveling up or challenges).

Gather gear in the story before playing in PVP, you gain gear faster and leveling up a specific character unlocks abilities for them.

You’re just now getting into BB? You kinda missed the boat. Jumped off the pier n doggy paddling around the harbor wondering why you’re wet and where the shuffleboard is…

Just stop dude, no point in being immature

New players should be encouraged, not taunted for getting a late start.

Fixed, thanks!

my Autocorrect enjoys taunting me!

Rath is a tad worse now. But in general, they added some maps, rebalancing a lot of the cast, and released three new characters. The game has changed a lot (for the better!). It’ll keep on improving, so there’s new reason not to get it now and be ahead of late comers.

Pc, ps4 or xb1?

Player base:
Pc is not healthy
Ps4 is ok. i play here
Xb1 is good

Difficult to find anything other than Incursion matches right now regardless of platform.

New characters have been pretty cool, had some ups and downs balance wise and maybe still need adjusting but nothing currently is broken like early beta Ambra was. July brought a big meta shakeup with cast wide balance changes and a general drop in healer effectiveness. We are apparently on the verge of another one of those, sometime in October.

Watch youtube videos on your favorite characyer. You could probably benefit from them.

As someone else had mentioned, it is better to join a party rather than going solo. Expect around 7-18 minutes of wait time for a match

If you want you could for gear first in story mode so that when you do PvP you will have a load out.

If you’re on PS4 then I will gladly play a few games with you and give you advice.
PSN is BlaineTheBro

On XB1? Hit me up! Gr1mPulse is the GT.

This goes for anyone, as well! =D
