Well it’s not so much the synergy as opposed to we know each other and our characters pretty well so we make it work, but we do get double stuns quite often and if he goes slow mine we get slow into stun.
Alani/Boldur is a very nice combo as if the opponent is caught in riptide you can bash them right back into stun via a wall or something.
Other good characters that sync well with Boldur are Kelvin, Gali, Thorn, Rath, and Melka.

Yesterday I had my first experience with Boldur in PvP. I was awful lol, I really need to get used to him. I’m sure that I’ll use your tips to improve.
So, I need to level him up asap? Bulding stuff and killing minions is the best way to do that?

Yes, it’s very hard to kill stuff early on though because his attack speed is so low. Expect assists early on. I generally use a buildable cost reduction gear and run around trying to get as many shards as I can and build build build. if you’re sprinting around the map ignoring players always throw your axe away as you run faster without it. Utilize his knock back with boldurdash and his quick melee to push people back. I’ve quick melee’d people 10 times in a row just to keep them in a corner as unless they have a knock back they can’t do much. Just don’t get frustrated as he really is bad early on, you just have to weather the storm and make it to level 5.

It is worth it though, him sucking at low levels doesn’t compare to his domination at high levels. nobody has a bigger impact in an incursion game than a good boldur. I spend 75% of the game in the enemies base just pestering and drawing sentry aggro while my team pokes at the sentry

ISIC and Kleese can be really strong together as they cover each other’s faults. And insane shields. If you also have a Phoebe, Shayne, and a Ghalt, you can have everyone pulled in and stunned in a circle of death, and everyone has shield capacity upgrades (Ghalt soon).
Yes Orendi is super fun. She’s a good match for most characters.
Boldur is definitely an acquired taste. You have to like that type of character which for the majority their tastes are for attackers because it feels like you’re doing more when you kill and do lots of damage.
Orendi + Oscar Mike would be a great pair. My husband and I run this team a lot. This is basically a heavy attack and AOE combo. Which is good. Attackers really stand out in this game and both of these characters have a low learning curve but can be very versatile once mastered (not the title but whenever you get a full understanding of all the possibilities these characters have. Same goes for all characters really). Like with Caldarius + Rath, focus on one character when able and just shoot and throw down your AOE on them and knock out minions quick. Attacking sentries will be super easy. Depending on the other characters that are on your team, you guys should be able to get in some good hits on the sentry without being hurt by other players (watch out for the sentry’s attacks) and then back out quick before you get too low on health. Lots of pushes and comebacks come from dying at the enemy sentry and the opposing team rushing into your territory while your team respawns. Ditto for your team; take this opportunity if you have a full team, or at least 4 players alive, to rush the enemy sentry.
Other great match ups would be Oscar Mike + Galilea, Orendi + Galilea, Montana + Oscar Mike, Orendi + Alani, Orendi + Deande.
Once you find your favourite characters you will find different combinations that work well for both of your playstyles.
Couch co-op is definitely the best 
After trying several characters, my wife liked Montana (I guess women have something to big, strong luberjack type) and I started playing as Miko. I see that many people literally fear Montana + Miko duo, but from the inside I think it’s rather psychological: first they aim Montana (bigger target and bigger threat), but when they see he’s healed by Miko, they switch their aim to me. However Miko can heal himself with left bumper without stopping healing other players. When enemy sees I’m starting to heal myself (which isn’t that effective, but they can see me healing) he usually starts thinking “oh ■■■■, I better finish what I’ve started with Montana…”, so he once again changes his target… and dies.
Other than that snipers and melee characters are pain in the ass when they’re controlled by players who thinks rational.
That’s why I switched to Marquis myself and found good results when pairing with my wife’s Montana. Montana attracts a lot of attention and many enemies comes out from their hideouts (or from whatever they’re doing) to pack a few shots into this slow, huge target. Then I can safely practice headshots on them and put them down before they even notice me (thanks to Ein, Zwei, Die ability). Enemy is usually so invested with Montana’s constant fire, that he doesn’t realize, that most of his damage comes from another direction.

Well, I want to play as Boldur because the design, I always enjoy play with the dwarf race, lol. And I saw a lot of videos of good players playing with him, I want to master this character asap.
Until now, Miko is my favourite character and I’m playing like 75% of all PvP and PvE games with him.

Yes they can work together well. You need to ignore the sniper title they give thorn though. It’ll be too tough to land arrows from afar. Play her as a mid range, dropping blights to clear minions and slow and damage distracted opponents. Volley and shoot arrows when they are slowed. She’s too quick and agile to have her sit back and try to snipe. Don’t push too far with her as melee characters can take her out quickly, just know when to run and get out when needed.
I have found using controllers that aree distracting like shayne and aurox very fun with characters likee phoeebee. I’ve gotten a tripple kill with phoebe’s ultimate because an alani popped up some enemies with her geyser. kelvin and miko are a really fun combo as well.
I tried Thorn several times, but I’m just not good with her for some reason. If you like her better you may try it and do just fine.
That’s true, I feel she is very better in mid range because her AoE, mobility and arrows “travel time”.
