…To be honest, it is somewhat of a joke on us, IMHO, just do the math and it doesn’t seem worth the effort for 1800 Act.

I hate the loot in this game, a fan of the game and of each Gbox game, but the loot in this one, gosh.

That’s the only possible roll, lore legendaries all had their stats averaged. I don’t know why they’re not maxed, that was supposee to happen but they were averaged instead, perhaps it was a mistake and will be fixed in future.

Does anyone know if the ā€œhealth receivedā€ gear works for Deande’s life steal?

Yes, +Healing Received affects both Leechsteel and Drain Dash Life Leech, same as on any other character with Life Steal.

Not that it’s really needed in PvE, I’m usually on top of Healing Done without +Healing Received gear.

But for PvP, it might be worth considering, given the fact that you’re limited to Drain Dash for selfheal if you’re going for Uppercut at Level 3.
(Although there are several ā€˜better’ stats for her, namely Attack Speed, or Damage, or CD reduction, … which I would all prefer to Healing Received)

Thanks. I prefer Attack Speed myself, as I think that’s the one thing she really lacks, but it’s good to know that health revcieved works just in case I need it :slight_smile:

Get these two legendaries and run a shard collector!
Vow of vengeance and Stolen edge of acrynorr.

Attack speed goes up to 25% and you get good attack damage.

Deande has passive lifesteal so you don’t need either of those skills.

With the shield strip and +15% damage augments at level 4 and 6, respectively, and shield capacity gear, Burst Dash can hit on par with most ults.

I’ve some builds with her but i mostly use

Skill Damage + Shield Strenght
Shield Strenght + Skill Damage
Attack Damage + Shield Strenght
With this build your Burst Dash can deal close to 1000 Damage but you need to run because you use stealth to engage

Vow of Vengence : 9.8% Attack Damage + 5.6% Attack Speed + 9.8% Attack Damage with full Stacks
Vow of Zealous Fury : 9.8% Attack Speed + x.x% crit damage + 9.8% Attack Speed with full Stacks
Boots of the Brute : 5.6% Movement Speed + 5.6% Attack Speed + 3sec Slow every 3sec

  • 19.6% AD + 30.8% AS ===> +50% DPS and Perma Slow (Works for all melee character)

Gogo-Juice was really good on her, but now with the nerf… not at all

Anyone know if Long Goodbye works on Deande’s holoclones?

Her passive lifesteal only affects her melee attacks, while Leechsteel gives her ranged attacks lifesteal and giver her melee even more. I often go for that over the other two just for the increased survivability, since the uppercut maker her a floating, immobile target. Sure she can potentially lock down one person, but in my experience (Which isn’t much, I assure you), I’ve never encountered a pure 1v1 fight that hasn’t ended extremely quickly.

Due to my usual grab of Leechsteel I don’t go with Drain Dash because it removes quite a bit of potential damage, though at level six I usually choose Ire’s Echo since I go with Wonder Twins at level 1. I haven’t gotten enough good gear for a burst dash/calculated risk build yet though, so I can’t speak for the damage it can do, but the way I play, as long as I’m being smart it’s very difficult to kill me.

Her passive lifesteal also procs from her thrown fans, Leechsteal Brooch only affects skills so has no impact on melee or thrown fans.

I believe I’ve played quite a bit of games with her, and I think I even tested it once and didn’t see my health go up after dealing health damage to an enemy with the thrown fans. I’m going to run a story mission now and test it out real quick (as it’s the easiest for me to test it out on, due to increased control of environment), shall let everyone know afterwards.

I have tested and can confirm, I’m a Master of Deande with over 90 games.

Yeah, I just saw that (Also her level three helix is called Leechsteel, so that’s what I was referencing, not the legendary.) Still it gives her even more survivability, which I use to constantly harass and evade from enemies, but again, I don’t have that great of gear yet. (Almost a MoD too, just got four XP left, but I have played far less games than you. (I would like it on record that me and one other person double Deande’d the Voids Edge when it was scaled up to five people, since they all died with no extra lives and then left, while I was the only person around at the time, soon to find enough lives to bring back the other player.)

I haven’t used her level 3 life steal since beta when I realised she already had passive lifesteal, I heavily favour thrown fans so naturally I take that augment at level 3 and if you’re low on health throwing fans at minions quickly rectifies that.

Deande is very dangerous on Incursion, and very hard to kill overall. That, I believe, is where her true strength lies. An extra 10% sounds nice though it sounds better before you notice the unlisted 10% she already has. She’s also quite underrated in PvE where her ranged attack with easy crits can mow through enemies and keep her healthy. Any attack speed gear does wonders for Deande, the Stone Edge of Arcvynorr in particular would be amazine as she can consistently hit crits and in doing so throw fans even faster! Combine that with an epic (purple) Jennerit gauntlet (which is what I use on her) and watch her DPS skyrocket and with it her life steal.
I’ve only recently acquired the SEoA, haven’t had a chance to test it though.

Yeah, they might have to make a new tag thingie for her, so instead of assassin she would be listed as evasive, or something, to signify how difficult she often is to take down.

I often use the lifesteal increase as it applies to all fan attacks (ranged/melee, not BD), but the ranged increase would also be a good one, though I’d personally rather have more health recovery overall.

Honestly, if she already has an innate 10% an additional 10 sounds really good to me, since it’s making it heal for even more than it was previously, rather than an additional 18% damage on one type of attack, of which only 10% of that damage is returned as life. I personally have a really hard time landing hits with her ranged attack, let alone crits. Also, why do you not use her Legendary? It offers incredible survivability potential and makes her an even more difficult target to take out, even if only temporarily.

I might also be one of the few people who really, really hate the Uppercut mutation, since it just makes her a massive target and removes all of her mobility.

Nah man I hate Uppercut but mostly because I’m trying to crit with melee for a status effect. For me the Uppercut only really works on overextended players that don’t know how to break the juggle and to teams not paying attention to one another. I want to run Boots of the Brute + Heliophagic Goggles + (rare sword)Attk Speed/Crit Hit Dmg. I run a build that gets a lot of mileage out of fan tosses though since they monster crit and give her some nice spike damage.

On the Lifesteal situation. I feel like pumping Crit Damage is the way to go since it’s a percentage off the damge you inflict and with Attack Speed and Crit Damage, you’re stealing a ton off of the innate 10% while also increasing your kill potential. Thrown fans become your self-heal basically and Thralls melt in front of you.

Right now I’m settling for (Rare Glove) +Attk Dmg/+Attk Speed, (Rare Sword) +AttkSpeed/+Crit Dmg, and Heliophagic Goggles.

Ah but in the same regard you’re increasing the life steal amount from the thrown fan attack by increasing its damage. If you don’t use it often though that’s your preference.

I’d suggest you practice and start focusimg more on her alt fire as though it were her primary attack, those things are crit magnets. They’re also good for those enemies who think they’re getting away because of how slow Deande is. Every third hit (before the split) is double damage, take the thrown fan augment at level 3 and they do more DPS overall (at mid-range) than her melee attacks.

On her legendary, I use it sometimes in conjunction with a +shield capacity item for her level 4 augment that strips your shield and adds it to Burst Dash. With that and the level 6 15% damage augment, it hits for 575 damage (From full shield of 440 capacity) at level 6 which is more than most ults at that level.

On the uppercut, ugh it’s so overtared. I agree all it does is make a stealth assassin a big visible target and that’s bad for business. A little bit of air control, a quick melee, a dash of any kind… So many things that can break the uppercut. And it’s not like it increases her DPS to insane levels, all the people who complain about likely got caught in it one time and panicked then rushed to the forums with screams of ā€œOP nerf!ā€
