Agree with all of this EXCEPT Galmour. Glamour is actually very good now. I use it with Fists of Matter on my Melee Amara. When things get too hectic, activate. Everyone starts fighting each other, I Butt Plug the grasped enemy, and by the time they come too I’m fully healed and they all have half sheilds.

All this sounds good except the Hellwalfker nerfing. It’s one of my favorite guns and I also love Doom. I don’t see why they are nerfing this gun. It’s not even exceptional there are plenty of great shotties. They should be buffing the weak ones like Conferance Call.

OMG my elemental Amara would love you if they actually buffed this gun.
Not sure I would call it weak as I use it to obliterate everything on her on M3 in every major fight. I use this for Slaughter Shaft M3 and help powerlevel friends to 50 and get easy gear.
Yes, please buff this “weak” gun LOL

I have used it with Elemental Hellcat and I found it very weak but if you day so then buff the Butcher back to life instead.

They better or at least i hope they throw in some changes on the PC performance and the hanging on the splash screen bug. If they are not there alot of the PC gamers including myself will be very unhappy.

What have they done in BL3 so far that gives you any hope that they care if you are happy?

More nerfs, when they explicitly stated that they would not be doing any more nerfs. Unfortunately, they won’t be the last. Hmm, I wonder who predicted this?

“SOME Iron bear requests”? Just SOME? It’s been almost a month, I hope it’ll be soon.

I’m sorry but if they don’t address in the next patch that Amara needs a nerf and all the other VH’s need a buff…I fear for the future of the game.

We don’t need more nerfs. Just buffs to other characters

Wow, you are kind of all over the place with this request aren’t you.
Amara will likely be nerfed, while Moze will likely be better balanced post nerf, just like Fl4k was.
As more people gravitate towards the over powered builds things will be adjusted. Fl4ks overwhelming popularity combined with one specific build weapon combo is why he got nerfed.
When the hammer fell hard on him, people switched to Moze. Guess what happened next… Moze got nerfed, Fl4k got buffed, Amara is getting more popular, Zane is underperforming this entire time so he got some buffs to.
Betcha can’t guess what’s going to happen next.
The game hasn’t even been out 2 months yet. Tweaks are going to happen, they did in Borderlands, they did in Borderlands 2 and they will in 3.
Instead of calling for nerfs, how about we call for fixing the technical issues in the game. Inconsistent frame rates, more graphical options on consoles, toning down the insane amount of epileptic inducing splash damage, and most importantly, figure out what is causing the game to crash and shut down consoles which could lead to damaging them.
Honestly, I own the game and I have not played in weeks because of it.

I have a feeling future “mayhem” upgrades will be enemies having more health, more spamming anointed, and more being one shotted and downed instantly to appease the kids who want borderlands to feel like dark souls and cry everything is too easy in a breezy humor filled coop game that literally has no competitive streak. I kind of hate this generation of gaming.
These massive vault hunter nerfs did not happen like this in borderlands 1 and 2. Lilith was the most powerful in 2009 and shes the most powerful now. I hate these ninja nerfs.

It is quite obvious that Gearbox WANTS Amara to be the only OP class in the game and they are pushing people to play her. The lead class balancer almost exclusively plays Amara according to the streams I have watched of him and he doesn’t even try to hide his obvious favoritism towards her.
You might see a couple little tweaks to Amara but in reality you will see some of her skills “fixed” making her even more powerful and the other 3 VH’s will see a few tweaks that will help balance them, but you will never see any of those 3 come even close to Amara in terms of options and power.
They will still be playable and viable and most likely fun, but Amara will be the go to VH for the casual and newer player and to those who want the most OP class in the game, and I would bet they have intended this the entire time.

Sal would like a word with Lilith about "most powerful"at least where her power level while being playable is considered.
This sounds like some conspiracy ■■■■, to be completely honest. There probably is some amount of bias, sure, but nothing intentional. I even remember the balancing guy say he wants to “spend more time in Iron Bear”, so he at least has some experience as Moze. Surely they’d see what purposely screwing with character design like that would do. If they wanted us to play one character, then they’d only make one character.

I am just basing my theory (and this is just my opinion) just on the changes via hotfixes and the one patch we have had so far, as well on the streams I have watched of him talking about the classes.
Every hotfix has basically “balanced” every class except Amara which has remained untouched, meaning she still has the highest single target DPS in the game hands down and it isn’t even close, as well as having the highest AoE damage in the game as well as some of the best, if not the best, survivability in the game now that Vampyr has been “balanced”. Also she still has a few broken skills the last I checked so the minute they get fixed she is going to be crazy.
Not sure a single character should have all of those but Gearbox has made sure Amara does.
I am not a conspiracy theorist person, it is just my simple belief that Gearbox wants Amara, as a siren, and they have heavily leaned in that direction.
We’ll have to see what direction they take in the next updates. As Moze, I worry what the Maliwan Takedown is going to be like solo.
Thank you for posting this.
It gives me hope someone else feels this way.
The game is fun and multiple builds are viable and there’s still a challenge depending on different things like modifiers, gear, player skill etc.
All that goes out the window if they turn this into Borderlands 2.1 and we’re back to just slag slogs and health gating nightmare gameplay.
Yes I know gearbox said they’re not going that direction with this game, but the tryhards are certainly calling for a return of that gameplay.

None at all. Thats the answer right there.
There really good at ignoring the PC gaming side of things and it shows.

I blame this on the youtube generation… everything needs to be recorderd and uploaded and shared for internet kudos… no matter what game it is.
One ridiculous challange after the other. People don’t play to have fun and enjoy the time while playing, it has to be metas and bragging rights, which to be honest noone even cares about except for the person who upload it.
If they want a game that is going to last for years as they keep saying, the better not turn it into BL2s one shot it before it one shots you loop.
