The game the launcher loads I click remastered and then it crashes 
could you please post whatâs inside you HwRM.log file (itâs in your âŚsteamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release folder)
there was no log file in the release folder there was a exe it launched from there but the campaign was missing the log file appeared after it

I think youâre missing the campaign files. Go in your steam account in your homeworld remaster library and check the dlc list. I think the two âHomeworld remaster campaign w/ BONUSâŚâ are not checked/installed
no they r there and have ticks beside both

Youâre clearly missing something here. Look in the \homeworldrm\data folder for the big file in red, just to be sure
the UpdateHW1Campaign.big is not in he HOMEWORLDRM\DATA file its in \Homeworld\HomeworldRM\DataUpdates
but all the other .BIG files r present in the DATA file
Dom 2 one of the guys that commented about has been helping me on a different forum for while now . we got the game launched and running the campaign perfect with this command line

Donât edit the big file. Just leave the files you have edited uncompressed and use a command line with -override big file.
In HWRM you will rarely need to create a big file. The workshop tool used for publishing mods does that for you. Until then itâs easier to leave everything loose.
i just decry pt the HWSHIP file to add hit points to the ships thats all i want to do . is there a way to do this ? i have tried your method of not re bigging the files but i get the access violation

just few extra hit points , i was using unfbig to rebig them but was advised against it . so i am taking the unfbig creates and drop it in the data folder . oh yea i just edit the SHIP file

been messing around here i was copying the file created by unfbig into the data folder ⌠i tried something i took all the files from that folder an stuck them into the data folder directly and the campaign launches ok but the max hit points changes i made were not there
First thing, youâre using the âkus_mothership.shipâ file from the data folder (HW1Ships.big), thatâs why you have the âparameter: attempt to call global `getGameRubricâ (a nil value)â error in your log.
You must use the âkus_mothership.shipâ from the dataupdates folder (updateHW1Ships.big) !
Try this and we will see what happen
edit the update hw1 ship launches and works ok but the changes r not there still using the command line to launch
