A series of hot fixes for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection are now rolling out. Information on exactly what a hot fix is, as well as what they address, can be found below.

In general, hot fixes are used to temporarily address issues between major updates. Hot fixes are not permanent – they are temporarily stored in memory during the game session and lost upon exiting Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. To ensure that you receive hot fixes, make sure that your system is connected to the internet when Borderlands: The Handsome Collectionl boots up.

An update contains changes that are permanently stored on your system and only needs to be downloaded once.[/quote]

Hot Fixes (Xbox One, PlayStation 4)

  • Increased drop rate for the Hyperion assassin skin customizations.

  • Zer0’s “ Velocity” skill will now apply critical hit damage correctly.

  • Increased DoT chance and DoT damage for the “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” shield.
  • Previous SHiFT-code only weapons (such as The Machine, Ol’ Painful, the Jack O’Cannon, and Boomacorn) now have a very rare chance of dropping in-game.
  • The ‘Tread Carefully’ challenge has been disabled so that it no longer causes issues with players’ challenge lists.
  • The weapon “Wet Week” now has a chance to drop from Swagman/Outcast.[/quote]

over half those so called fixes ive never heard an issue for, and only hotfixes, wheres a perm patch for the loot increase or better yet, anything ever gonna be done about the sound allways going out in claptastic voyage, now that’s a real issue, never heard of most the fixes being a prob, but noticed a lot of what was reported still isn’t fixed or mentioned, o well, it was worth checking the forums, just still cant play the game, those are the fixes we need, the ones keeping us from actually playing and enjoying it, but I know you all are woking hard on the things you want, and just maybe someone will fix it down the line, hope its before Battlebore comes out, cause have a feeling this game wont get any attention after that, you all are gonna be buisy fixing that one.

Hrm, at the cost of an unstable tps. Any progress on that puppy? it’s a bummer when the game crashes interacting with jump pads or air locks.

are u guys working on a patch for the game i dont know the issues in bl2 but the pre sequel has a major host join issue on xbox one with people getting stuck at fast travels when trying to load in or completely crashing the games?

Split-screen in the Pre-sequel is still glitched; the field of view is zoomed in too far. It’s glitched on Xbox One and I think Playstation 4. Thought I’d post it here, since no one important reads the “Report your bugs” thread.

Xbox 1. Haven’t had these issues before. The most pressing issues ive had are:
-Certain characters not loading in friends games.
-Sound in Claptastic Voyage Subconscious.

These are in my opinion the last 2 of the previous dozen or so issues ive had. Thank you for that!

P.S. There are 2 million copies of the pre sequel out there. Sounds like a pretty good market for dlc when you have the man power.

When the developer gives up, so will its gamers.

I take it sense its been so long sense a good patch came out to make some hot fixes permanent and fix other issues, That GB has moved on and are no longer supporting this game anymore. havnt played much sense release cuz of the issues not being fixed, just thought id check and see if anything was going on, and I can see there isn’t. I lost faith in GB a long time ago, and I can see it was a good move. a shame when BL had so much going for it, o well, plenty of games out there now, and more good ones coming, still passing on the battleborn, just not my kind of game, it was fun while it lasted. Like GB, moving on

The teams are still working on updates for both BL2 and BL:TPS in The Handsome Collection. No hard ETA right now, but there are definitely some issues we’re trying to crack.

Guys do not worry. I’m tracking my favorite games on SteamDB and there is still some stuff happening there. This is why I like Gearbox, they are actually fixing and supporting things if they can.
