True, but I have a pretty good āguessā that it will only be a little better than her other options on most enemies, or not #1 at all.
Donāt get me wrong the ricochet Fibber is powerful as ā ā ā ā , but its real power come from its synergy with the Bee. So akin to the Confrence Call pre (BL2) and post (TPS) Bee balance.

I just meant it will melt systems, as in how B0re was bad, nisha has kinda has chain reaction, nth degree, and close enough all in 2 skills.
So she can kill frames like no other and the richochet fibber is a frame melter.
I was talking about it killing both PCās and Consoles, nothing about its power in the game, just its power to kill hardware.

The Unforgiven no long works that way Iām pretty sure. Test anything with penetration on Felicity or The Sentinel, I think they made it so that one bullet can hit one hit box once if that makes sense.
Iāll make sure later.

I dunno man ive been playing since launch and i definitely think its still a game about loot. I get what youāre saying and all. But after all the dlc and patches thereās alot of loot to farm for and play with in tps. I think its actually a very nice balance of loot collecting and rpg elements. But thatās just how I feel about it.

I can āguessā the richocet Fibber will be no worse than these 2 weapon w/ penetration as the games stands now.
And I donāt even have anywhere near a good PC.

I get what youāre saying, but not really. Mobbing yes, bossing/raiding no. If it wasnāt for Tombstone she would probably be almost Wilhelm level when it comes to raids. I.E not needing to aim and critting the crit-less Sentinel is her power. But Jack/Athena and sometimes Clappy blow her out of the water. Not to metion 999 Aurelia.
Iād attribute this more toward the softer scaling and lack of OP levels, the skill trees are a factor but they definitively arenāt the main one.
I mean try out the Eclipse or Sh4dow-tp fight as Claptrap w/out a Flakker or Aurelia w/out a Droog. You can do it, but it is painfully slow and you are likely to die before the fight ends. The same goes for BL2, Iāve seen OP8 raids with sub optimal gear, their just slow.
Again I disagree with this, especially w/ the CV weapons. And yes I can use any Jacobs pistol on Nisha and almost any Jacobs SG on Jack, but it nowhere near compares to a Luck Cannon/Pepperbox or perfect Glitch Quad. Again it all comes down to the scaling.

The only fibber in the code is the ricochet one if I remember right
The shotgun one wouldnāt be broken any more than the Maggie, I agree.
But at 88% chance of trick shot, the ricochet one would trivialize the game with Nisha.
As for the Lady fist, sorry but I disagree. There are so many videos floating around of nisha wrecking everything with it even with poor gameplay and really bad builds⦠There is no way this is not a gamebreaking gun for her.

In borderlands 2 red text guns werent necessary as well. You can do everything in the game without red text gear just like in tps. And There is definitely game changing gear in tps. I think the pre sequel rewards you with more gear and theres more ways to get it. And yea the chracters are very powerful so its not necessary to go after red text gear. But it was also like that in bl2. I mean all i needed was a plasma caster and cat mod with maya and could melt everything. I can give so many other examples in bl2 of super powerful gear that wasnt red text. I can feel super powerful in borderlands 2 with any character with all purple gear.

All 3 are in the files.
And Iām saying the ricochet would destroy stuff no faster than any of the other gear she has access to, including the Maggie. You can just ask (hopefully) Felicity in the future, she wasnāt that impressed. The ricochet will be TG, but still not the top of the top. But Iāll save any more of this talk for if I gets released and let my videos prove me right or wrong.
As Gunzerker Nisha maybe or the E&E kills. But from what Iāve seen it really isnāt any notable difference from Jacobs pistols. Crit transfer is the only time it breaks the game, and there arenāt that many instances where that is possible or viable. Iāll do some math if you want to see how it really boils down.
^Disclaimer it will be the first time for both of us and if you could Iād like the DPS formula if you want me to do the math, thanks.

It would be worse because the split, way worse because the pellets can re split and you have good fire rate on top of that

I think you missed the main point. You said you donāt need to farm gear b/c of TPSā skill trees so I countered that it is the scaling, which is true.
Again b/c of the scaling.
Any gear
Preferred gear

To me the fact that any particular gun, any particular skill or any combination there of is required to defeat any boss to me screams bad game design. You shouldnāt require anything to get through the game. Sure, some things might make things a little harder or a little easier but it should still be doable, unless we are talking about soloing raid bosses in which case it shouldnāt be possible to do at all without a team. The fact that people are able to do it at all is bad and/or broken game design. Of course, some of these guns might not be needed to defeat any of these bosses at all, but people see them as necessary as people want to defeat them as quickly as possible or are trying to take on a raid boss solo. Basically, people are looking for shortcuts and see these as the necessary tools to take those shortcuts.
Gearbox seems to be learning though with every game, every DLC, every patch. Iām hoping that in the future weāll see more balanced game design and more interesting and challenging boss fights that donāt require specific combinations of gear and builds to beat (as well as raid bosses that actually canāt be soloed - for those that want to solo replace the encounter with a lesser version of the boss or an alternate boss and scale the rewards and/or chances for rewards appropriately).
I hope that Gearbox learns a lot from making Battleborn and can apply it to the next Borderlands (and maybe in the future even updated versions of the original games with an overhauled and improved system in place). I hope they can come up with more interesting encounters in the game besides just adding more hit points to the bosses or adding frustrating mechanics to the encounter. I want all things to play an important part. Twitch skills, strategy, planning, intelligence, the guns, shields, grenades and other equipment, the characterās action skills and the various builds that modify how the characters play. I want them all to play an important part and not be overshadowed by the others.
To me that also means making a game that everyone can play just because itās just so damned fun. I might be one of the only people to say this but I think that Gearbox made a mistake by making the focus of the game the guns. I feel like people just skip over a lot of the great content in the game just to find the next gun. I am tired of playing games where all people seem to want to do is farm. Farm this mob for experience so I can level up, Farm that mob so I can get that gun/shield/grenade/etc. to drop. Farm that boss for whatever reason. I absolutely loathe farming.
I want to be able to jump in the game and do whatever I want. I can do that solo, sure, but when I team all anyone else wants to do is farm. It gets so boring fast. I donāt even get to kill most of the mobs because people just want to skip them to get to the next boss for x drop. There are so many things I want to add to this but Iām not sure how to put them into words yet so Iāll save it for later. I just hope that Gearbox is learning from everything up to this point and that makes what comes next something I can really enjoy.
