The launcher will come up but when i hit play BL2 doesn’t come up. is this happening for anyone else?
I think its something with the Exe, maybe there is some way to un hex edit or something?
Please Help Me i Really want to play the new DLC
I’m having the same problem. I even uninstalled and did a fresh install and still can’t get it to go past the launcher.

Also having the same issue, can’t get past the splash launcher.
same here, even after reinstalling.
Edit - I deleted my bl2.exe and and anything having to do with the community patch and addons in game directory as well as save directory then reverified the game files integrity and it is now launching properly

Wondering if the UCP conflicts with extra levels, new content, and 5th DLC that were just announced/released
Do you think you could give me more specifics?
Nvm i fixed it
Can you give me some specifics?? I don’t want to delete the wrong files honestly. All of a sudden over the last 2 weeks, I keep getting kicked out after launching it.
Did you try to install Borderlands Commander?
Because i had a random file named Plugins that i deleted which made it work
I have gotten the new dlc, and couldn’t find that folder/file. For me, this started about 2 weeks ago all of a sudden when it worked perfectly good previously. That’s why I’m so confused with all of this.

Was there a steam or windows update around when the problem started appearing? Might want to check that all your graphics and audio drivers/settings are what you think they should be. Also worth checking your any other settings for the game/launcher. Can you launch the game successfully if you by pass the launcher completely, navigate directly to the game .exe, and run that?

So, it works when I launch from the .exe directly. If it is the launcher issue, then what could be a solution? I don’t remember if it was a steam or windows update that could have caused it, but I know I keep my video drivers updated. And I did a clean install of those during the last update a week ago just in case.

You’d need to ask someone more familiar with Steam that question. My guess would be something in the settings or options associated with the game through the launcher.
I appreciate the information. I am working with tech support on this as well. I will keep people posted on the solution once I get one.
