That’s basically what Xbox Game Pass is.
My fear with this idea is that game companies are going to move to that model so they can get the recurring fees, and once a game has a low enough player base - poof -it’s never seen again. You can’t find any classic films on Netflix. If you want them legally, you go into the boutique DVD/Blu-ray market.
