Sure, the point I’m trying to make though is that the bl3 numbers haven’t actually moved around much since launch, yes this past month has been slow for borderlands - with the bugs and problems that need addressed, but realistically the numbers aren’t much different than they have been.

Here’s a screenshot from right now. It’s just a cherry picked screenshot.

Yes, and this chart showing overall players is a much better example haha. I was just pointing out the original picture isn’t really indicative of anything.

Don’t need charts and numbers to know the games state. Some of the biggest fan boys have jumped ship and are streaming games nearly a decade old instead of this version.

People can only take so much emphasis on balancing a PVE loot and shoot game. All that effort needs to be redirected to fixing the real problems… My bank still shows every item as new every time I open it. The kicker is it wasn’t like this until the first patch, so while fixing something else they broke it. Then refuse to address it and fix it. I tried following the rules of submitting tickets and repeatedly jumping through hoops. Just gotta recognize it’s not the community complaining that’s the problem. It’s the company refusing to address known issues…

The shiny has worn thin at best, for most it’s simply dull at this point. The problem is at the top but it’s made so much worse by any of you that still take up for the terrible leadership and protect it… Everyone would benefit, including the company, If they would abandoned this new business model and fix the games issues and stop with the weekly balancing.

The game’s been out for 9 months. It’s not surprising that newer games have higher Twitch viewer counts.

Borderlands 2 had sponsored streams going on this past week to promote the Legendary Collection release on Switch and the limited-time free Handsome Collection offer on Epic Games Store.

I’ll never understand the draw of generally watching strangers play video games. Especially given the blither that’s dribbled out of their face holes the few times I’ve given them a shot, or those times I’ve clicked on a streamer’s YT video for pertinent news. If I’m that interested in a game and it’s available, I’d rather just play it myself.

BL 3 current state is the worst it has been since launch. No point so stream a completely broken game

Same appeal as sports. Why would I watch someone play baseball if I could play it myself? But people do it by the millions.

TBF, at least Guardian Rank is working now lol

Not nearly the same. Sports take a great deal of effort, setup, and usually the organization of a number of other people. Not to mention a certain level of fitness. Playing a video game is about as easy as watching Twitch - potentially easier, even!

I don’t see much difference. When you get down to it all it is is watching grown men play games. Yes, sports take a great deal of effort and dedication, but so does wedding planning, and nobody watches that for fun.

For the most part I find it more enjoyable to watch people playing video games than most sports since I understand what is going and you have more interaction with the player.

I don’t actively watch live streamers since, as you said, I’d rather just play myself.

However, I do watch some build videos since those are informative and show off mechanics I might not know of. But Yea, generally, I’d rather just play a game myself than watch someone else play.

Whaddya think about watching a buff dude who looks like hes on steroids who always wears a Borderlands psycho mask and mutters incoherent things or yells nonsense as a stream while he plays borderlands?

Nipples covered with leather straps or.something of course byr he def looks like a psycho

Borderlands show? I didn’t know that guy was still on. A bit intense for me, but as one off every now and then I don’t mind a gimmick

There was a person like that!? Lmao… Damn

… There goes my streaming dreams. Who wants to be a copycat lmao.

Not super buff, but there was a guy who dressed up as a psycho and did some rambly bits on the borderlands show. I don’t know if he’s still there though, so you may have niche after all
