DW capstone/ SoR down to DM (last ditch/fortified bloodletter)
if i switch from bloodletter to blastmaster i cant use deathless therefore i lose the damage boost from DM.
With 6 points on BM tree that would leave me with only 2 points to spec on DM (33% damage) with 2 point on TRL, thats less than 15% damage boost from desperate measures.
Oh, if you’re doing a build focused on a flakker, I’m not sure how well Short Fuse works with it I forget.
If you’re doing a 1hp build you can just use a deathless and get 50 percent gun damage from DM + 100 splash from Blast master. Which is much better than 100 gun damage and 0 splash. Assuming you don’t bother with short fuse. I really don’t think you’ll notice a difference, and you’ll do more damage with blast master and DM anyway.
You can use a deathless with blast master. Just use a BBB. Or don’t, and 2 points TRL and 3 DM is still 20 percent boost, and still better than 0 splash from a bloodletter build.
I know you might have splash boost bonus stats, but I’m assuming you have weapon damage bonus stats to use with blast master.
This is what I’m doing lately, for running medium sized mags doing splash damage. I specced out of all fire damage because kinetic takes less of a damage penalty across the board against all types. Blast Master Com, Juliet’s Dazzle, 160 splash. I don’t bother with 5 points in the red tree because my shield is a Sitorak, and is down as often as it is up, but you could take the points out of Iron Bank to take it if running a bigger shield.
if youre going for a kybs/scourge/rowans call loadout, its better to go down to some for the road and spec some points on The Iron Bank, that way youll not run out if ammo if you shot the scourge without Some For The Road (and potentially lose the Blast master bonus) and also boost your kybs/rowans calls mag size. Also Rowans call ricochets as far as im aware benefit from the blastmaster splash bonus. @twoPIZZA can you confirm this?
i havent tried the shredifier on m4 so i cant give my opinion on it but the lucians calls really lacks in damage.
haha this is good, its a new build but i like it.
ill do some test tonight if a can at least get to wotan without dying/reloading it has my approval.
Without short fuse i can spec points 3/3 on StE and 3/3 on TRL just to gain a little more damage and shields.
i cant tell either, sometimes i suspec it procs because of how fast i can kill enemies one after the other and i know its not because of phalax of doctrine cause each kill add only 2% per stack, but its really hard to test, im still not sure how much damage it deals even while testing it on jack dummy, you cant see s***.
Which is going to be worth a lot more than Short Fuse.
I think people are over-estimating Short Fuse. If I have 20+ points in DW, and say 20+ in Bottomless… I’ll more often than not go to Short Fuse rather than Forge or 6 points in SoR.
If I have 11 points in SoR, and 9 in Bottomless, I might go short fuse and then put a couple points in SoR or DW.
Don’t be afraid to spec into something else and not even take a cap stone. Plus then you can ditch SSB and go with FitSD if you want. Just use Rocket pods and you hardly notice a damage decrease. Or Grizzled, MoD, DL, PtHP, and Auto Bear to get to Vampyr.
I’ve just learned about this. No idea how useful it would be. The King/Queen’s call looked gnarly but as the others were saying in that thread… So much effort and accuracy needed.
I had a Duc/mind sweeper build that I’m going to revisit with Queen’s Call… Might be a good blend, since I reckon the ricochets from Queen’s call should proc the grenades, and Duc will allow for faster shooting when necessary. However, doesn’t have the sustained damage from Blast Master…
Not sure if it fits in the current conversation but I want to throw out that the Nukem + blast master + short fuse is pretty insane. I have a nukem with 3 in the mag and i’m able to push it up to 6. I can pretty much complete entire rounds of SS without reloading or swapping out of the Nukem with minimal Some for the Road abuse.
Personally, I think it’s a tiny bit better than the Scourge because it doesn’t absolutely require Some for the Road to be able to spam the Nukem and not reload
I don’t understand why, but when Short Fuse procs on the Nukem i’m getting numbers in the 250k range. Probably because I have the 160 annointment on it but the damage of the actual Nukem is something like 60-65k
Yeah, some Torgue guns in particular have a larger than usual interaction with short fuse. I haven’t come across a 160 Nukem yet, but I saw the potential in the one I have. I want one to replace the scourge in my Torgue build, because the scourge doesn’t seem to get the same boost from short fuse. I know I harp on this, but the 160 splash Juliet’s Dazzle does the same. ~200k crit short fuse procs. Way out DPSs the scourge I have.

I want to love the Nukem, but I just can’t figure out how it’s blast radius works. Sometimes it will clear out a group of mobs, sometimes it hits nothing…
the BM/SoR spec can run a pure Dahl loadout with star helix and… AUTOAIMÉ or a pure jakobs loadout with lucky 7, but lucky 7 can also work with marksman and blastmaster COM
the BM/DM spec can run a pure Vladof loadout with ion cannon and faisor or Torgue loadout with craps and scourge
and both specs can run an Atlas loadout with carrier or a Maliwan loadout with ion laser
Try swapping your capstone to short fuse from forge. You’ll notice a crazy damage increase.

I’ve been running this build with an Honor Guard Bloodletter COM, an Elemental Deathless Artifact, and the Wedding Invitation. Just cleared the SS last night on M4. Going to try MT on M4 single player.
