The WTF was, for certain values of viable, lethal on Axton before (I like to give it a healthy OP buff and play with 20% BAR; for that risk, those orbs should be wrecking face). I think it still produces more damage with grenade damage buffs than electrocute DoT buffs, but at least that skill on the Shock Trooper mod won’t go to waste if that’s your COM of choice.
Perhaps more useful for damage output than the electrocute damage over time is the higher booster proc chance. I didn’t see a change in the card value, and I may be sensing fake results because of my elation with these fixes, but dang if that thing wasn’t showering enemies in Lynchwood with shock death. Scavengers were the only things I was unable to kill with it, mostly because they were squirming around a lot and inadvertently dodged the shock boosters. Everything up to Bone Crushers and UBA Marauders were on the menu though.
