Add me to the list of folks that really doesn’t care for mayhem made mild. I avoid certain easy modifiers intentionally. I’d rather not have to put up with them for a week.
How about bringing back the trials event instead?

why make a event to remove part of the mayhem mode , that make 0 sense
We really really really reaaaaaally need more weapon buffs at this point . What’s the point of loot events when so many of the guns and gear are still trash at higher levels? I for one have no trouble getting a backpack full of legendaries in about 10 minutes - they are just all vendor fodder.
The change to bonus elements and projectile spawn today might be a good ‘fix’ in the long run but as it stands there are now even fewer good choices than there were before this patch.
Make it rain? Useless!
Mayhem made mild? Really outta just…make modifiers toggleable. I mean, I don’t mind that much but… might as well!!
I’d like to see revenge of the cartels come back as a permanent location as well, it IS more content to farm.
Not sure if the wedding invitation also had a location associated with it or not, but if it did, throw that one in too.
The last time they did that event was right before they added a bunch of additional SDU and bank slots for purchase. Here’s to hoping they have this in mind again. 
Yea, reading through all these events is a big disappointment. It’s pretty clear that this was just cobbled together. I think the only thing that I would enjoy is the boss loot one, but I’m hoping they include dedicated/exclusive drops in that. Otherwise it’s kinda a waste as well.
The Loot Monster Mayhem event should be good if it is like the last “loot variant enemies” event. Loot tinks, loot tinks everywhere!
I just hope that the events ending on September 10 is an unofficial affirmation of the target date for DLC 4…
Basically they need something to keep people playing over the summer so this flavour of the week thing will keep things from getting boring. Then in a few weeks, perhaps towards the end of August, we will probably hear what they plan next for the game. For now, they have worked hard, especially keeping things going during COVID-19, and I expect many of them will be taking time off over the summer.
How about a celebration of bigger font after 11 months? Too much to ask for? I’ll just grab my binoculars to read the weapon card.
Don’t forget they need dlc4 out by 12th September for all the season pass holders.
I like the idea of the anniversary celebration, but the guns are not really good enough now, so having more of them is not very appealing.
Almost one year old and still unplayable as couch co-op because no vertical split screen. I still feel cheated out of$60.
I appreciate it the effort, I really do. You guys want to do something special and unique to keep players engaged until DLC 4. These events don’t feel all that great though.
ECHOcast: Only applies to a small percentage of the player base and there are few loot items that are really all that great in the current state of the game, so no incentive to join a stream anyway.
Bonus Boss Loot: This is great for a few select items and bosses. Only a few though. Hardly anything outside of the DLC’s is worth farming for and most DLC 3 items can be gotten with a little bit of farming (except Flipper, haven’t seen one since the July 23 patch).
Loot Monster Mayhem: Again, most items simply aren’t worth it. Once you have the select few, there is no objective to farming. If more items were good, farming would be more engaging and gameplay would be more interesting. As it is, once you have a Transformer, Flipper or Lightshow, Pearl, and the right class mod, you’re done. VERY few weapons outside of a handful of DLC 3 ones are any good at M10, and those only with perfect annoints.
Show me the Eridium: Loot problem again. The gun gun idea is a step in the right direction, as is Earl’s shop having mission items. The issue with those is the extremely limited pool from which they can spawn items.
Mayhem Made Mild: Mayhem modifiers should be optional anyway. We all just reroll until we have the select few we can live with. There aren’t enough “good” modifiers from the good pool to populate M10 if it was all good modifiers. Half the good ones do more harm than good or are pointless (lootsplosion). Some of the “bad” modifiers would be less obtrusive and quite fun if they didn’t come with so much visual clutter. Half the time my screen is so full of flashes and lasers that I have to use the minimap to aim or spray 'n pray. It’s probably my single biggest problem with the game. Screen clutter is making me give serious thought to leaving BL3 behind.
Making it Rain: Money is useful at the early stages of leveling, sometimes, and to buy SDUs. Almost nothing in a vending machine (even with legendaries) is worth purchasing at level cap, so once you have all SDUs, money becomes almost pointless.
The last few patches have been steps in the right direction, but there are still some really glaring issues.
Item balance is a huge one. I WANT to use weapons from the base game and from DLC 1 and 2. Even the M6+ exclusive weapons lose their shine compared to DLC 3 weapons. The latest change to extra projectiles was a good change, but it crippled so many weapons outside of the Recursion. I don’t know if it’s just me, but most Jakobs weapons seem to have taken a huge hit to usefulness.
Screen clutter is the other one. Like I said, there are so many visual effects on the screen that it’s damn near impossible to see the enemy. I play video games way more than I should and this is the first one I can remember that gives me headaches from playing.
I realize I might sound very negative, but if I didn’t enjoy the game I wouldn’t bother to post. I don’t want faceroll easiness or legendaries dropping from the sky. I want to rewarded for difficulty and I want to be excited when a legendary drops.
Yep. No reason to farm. And folks wonder why BL2 is a fan fave? Content. 4 DLC, 5 headhunter packs, 2 DLC characters, UVHM and OP Level expansions.
This game is empty… literally (I’m looking at you Atlas HQ and vehicle only maps).
Edit: and it wasnt content for the sake of content, it felt like each added piece built off each other. Torgue has a circle of slaughter currency-token for killing badasses, raid currency, DLC 5 had weapons for previously released digistruct peak like a…FPSRPG…not a gatcha game.
Soooo, a bunch of loot events right before DLC4 and possible level cap increase in September. Got it. (You know, we’ve done this before).
Lol, hyperbole aside, will this be an increased chance for dedicated rates, or just world drop rates? Or (hopefully) both?
More importantly what’s the point of increasing drops before wide sweeping balance changes are made? I don’t want any more Malaks Banes thanks.
See what’s today’s possible hotfix brings I suppose but weapons need a LOT of work.
So basically, that week we’ll just be re-rolling the modifiers to remove Galaxy brain? Haha. I also hate playing with big kick energy. I feel like that week will be more annoying than it is currently
