I would love to play as tiny tina…although of course some people would disagree with that because they want 4 fresh new characters and i do too…so it would be awesome if tina would be a dlc character which i believe is the best way to go …i would also like to play as moxxi and maybe hammerlock or scooter lol just my opinion though

I think a character that has unique stealth ability not like zero when you turn invisible like crouching stealth sneak attack and I came up with a character that fits that kind of gameplay… A character named native the hunter he is a native that got thrown out of his tribe because he was using wanted to be like a vault hunter then ran into zero witch gave him some technology gear like zero but still shows his native side of him,his special ability is he pulls out a tediore spear that does have a Melee ability but does a lot less damage than throwing your spear first tree will be called “Spirt of the Wolf” that tree circals all around stealth and sneak damage. Second tree will be called “Song of the wind” this tree circals all around being able to dodge bullets more but having less health. Next and final tree is called “Witch doctor” witch makes it being able to do elemental damage DOTS And some healing you and your team. So gearbox just make a better stealth character

Borderlands online is getting shut down. Why not use some of their assets instead of letting it go to waste. Got 4 hunters right here. Just retool them.

I want to Play as Tiny tina too but I think that 1 is about bombs 1 is more of a utility tree for the spare points and one is about maybe smashing teapots on the enimes heads?

Did i already mention a person named Dr. Ted?

Yes… Too often :p.

I agree that Tiny Tina should be a playable character as I know many people that have been wanting her as one since they first encountered her. Also expanding on your idea about an explosive based tree and the incorporation of cute/destructive weaponry, I feel that she could have a variety of “cute” weaponry as her ability that change depending on the skill path you choose. I really like the idea of her throwing a teapot filled with burning oil that can cause burning DoT as well as covering an area of the ground with a pool of oil that damages any enemy walking through it. Another cool thing would be if she threw one of those giant teddy bears that you can find at Costco, filled with explosives at enemies and can be upgraded to create an atom bomb type explosion, complete with radioactive fallout, which could be portrayed with corrosive damage.

I’m very late to the party, but where was BL3 confirmed? If it wasn’t and / or this thread is just about suggestions now, could we get a thread rename? Bit tired of seeing this pop up and getting excited, only to click on it and being disappointed :stuck_out_tongue:

It was confirmed they were going to make it at some game convention. They are working on it now even though they are mainly focusing on BattleBorn. It wont be here until a year or two or three though.

I also hope we get a new cast of charactors no one else from the other games

^ I second this. ^

One of the new characters should be Dr. Ted.

I was thinking maybe a little bit more of a Robot concept, with a sort of “Gunslinger” idea.

His name is “S0R3N The CyberTech”.

Long story short, he is a robot that was programmed to hunt for the vaults all over the galaxy, but after the Hyperion Corporation fell he went dormant for years until Gaige found him while scrounging for scrap metal, and repaired him but has no memory of the Hyperion corporation or Handsome Jack, and went insane over the fact he cant find out where he came from, but still wanted to find the vaults, so he went out with the vault hunters on there quest for the vaults.

If you have a better backstory be sure to let me know, but most of the action skills are based on the back story.

NEW CHARACTER CLASS: LUCKY (RNG manipulation)

I posted this on another forum but it looks like it should go here. I thought of a type of character that really hasn’t been done before: a lucky class:

SOME SKILL TREE IDEAS

So in addition to just the action skill, all classes have some side perks that complement their skills. Being a luck based character, investing in certain skill points could increase just about anything in terms of game RNG. For instance, one skill tree could focus on loot, like finding more money, or better weapons. Some of the last skills in that tree could even increase the chances of finding orange gear (even if by 1%) or increase the chance of tubby spawning.

Another tree could focus on damage, where each bullet has a small chance to deal extra damage. Also in this tree, there could be a perk that gives each non-critical hit a small chance to become a critical. Inversely, some skills might give a small chance to negate or even deflect damage taken.

THE ACTION SKILL: FORCE LEVELING

So here’s where the action skill comes in: a force leveling system. When you choose to use it on a target, it increases their level and rank by one. (i.e. using this skill on a super-badass will immediately turn him into an ultimate-badass). This will make the enemy more challenging to kill, but will also obviously increase your chances of finding rarer gear. To prevent from exploiting, each enemy would only be allowed to level up once (unless possibly a skill allows for 2 level-ups). There could either be a cooldown time, or otherwise the action can’t be used until the previously leveled enemy is killed.

In addition to leveling only enemies, the action skill could also be used on a teammate, giving them increased damage and resistance for a short amount of time.

SUMMARY

Basically this class focuses on slightly increasing game mechanics and RNG, both for looting and offensive reasons. With well rounded calculations, this character could be good for players of all skill levels, by giving beginners a little more boost to offense (similar to Gaige’s close enough skill), but can also provide more experienced players with extra tweaks to suit a certain play style, as well as a better chance of finding gear with all the perfect parts. It can also provide more of a challenge to players who want it, leveling up any enemies they see.

I was also thinking what if “Angel” was a playable class, Now i know what your thinking
“But isn’t Angel Dead”
Not Real Back Story. Just A Suggestion
you would be right there but afterwards handsome jack did “Experiments” to revive his “Daughter”, what if he emerged successful?

I have had this idea in my mind ever since Krieg became a playable character but I’d possibly like to see Vault Hunters based off of different types of Bandits. Such as a Nomad, a Rat, a Goliath, or even better a Midget. Maybe it’s just me being too dreamy but I would like to see this possibly happen, let me know what you guys think.

So I have my own idea for a vault hunter that’s actually two characters in one. I posted it in the Borderlands 2 threads but I’m going to put it in the TPS threads because there seems to be more BL3 related Vault hunter Ideas there (I’m new by the way)

I have no idea what happened, but I decided to give out my crazy idea that took my 2 whole seconds to make:

"Borderlands 3: Pandora’s Box"
That just seemed kind of cool.

Tiny Tina would be a fun character to play. I do agree she has to be older. So after sometime has passed when they’re actually on the different moons, planets for the other vaults it should be like 5 yrs or so. She can be the close quarters character build like brick and Salvador and the psycho.
Either a siren or an eridian character should be made.
A commando. Maybe… it should be a character with like a pet skag or something.
Sir hammerlock is also a great idea. But he seems to old.
