Crossplay with PS added to the game.
That should make a bunch of people over in the PC tech support section moderately less unhappy.

That seems to crop up fairly regularly, judging by forum posts. It means that at least one player couldn’t connect to the SHIFT servers which are used to set up on-online sessions.
Unfortunately, there’s likely not a single guaranteed fix since there seem to be multiple possible causes, including: issues server-side with load; issues client-side with firewall settings (either PC or router/modem); stale session data; other gremlins.
If you have previously been able to connect to SHIFT without issues, it might be worth doing whatever corresponds to clearing the cache on your system (power reset on consoles, deleting contents of the app temp data folder on PC, full reboot in both cases).
On PC, you’ll need to make sure that both the BL3 executable and Windows lsass have permission to access the internet and are not being blocked.
I’m not sure what else might be applicable solution-wise, but those would be starting points at least.
I ran into a problem. I play on ps5, my friend on pc. Connect and play. But voice chat doesn’t work. How to solve this problem? Tell me how to set up voice chat in crossplay?
#Borderlands3 was trending on twitter for a Skeleton Key promotion. It made me think new in-game content to go with Sony cross-play would have been a huge win. Something like a Arms Race Map added to each planet quarterly? Toggling on Skills & Friendly Fire at a cost of Mayhem Mods & FFYL.
Hello! I’ve been playing with my friend who is on PS5. And just literally 10mins ago, he is being forced offline and whenever he’s trying to connect to Shift, the game crashes saying “Network Error”. Anybody else having this?
After this update, the game keeps asking me for the unique Shift display with a continue button, but when I select that button, I’m back to the login screen!!!
I’m dead stuck at the login screen now and the game become useless at this point. Can someone please help me out?
PS: I’m on PS4.
Just deleted the game and re-download the update, worked magically. Thanks for responding me, bro!
