This forum is really showing why todays gaming communities are known as overdramatic. You think with dev bashing you guys can accomplish anything? Constructive criticism is the way to go - many people in this thread showed how to do it.
Compare the whole thing to building a house or new business location (although the young ones might not understand that comparison):
While you build it, you want to set a date like „yea on the 1st of september, we‘re gonna open up the new location“. But then there are problems you simply CANNOT forsee happening in the building process so you might have to delay the opening for quite a time. Same goes with video games.
But dear god , imagine the MASSIVE storm of wild nerds once they hear their game gets delayed by 2-3 months since there were problems, the devs couldn‘t see before setting the release date. I‘d rather share a tiny hut with some hungry skags than tryna fight with triggered nerds.
Bl2 had way more problems on release and then suddenly grew to one of the best games on this doomed planet. So why shouldn‘t story repeat itself?
Instead of bashing devs for trying to band-aid stuff until they fixed AND tested the bigger balance and QoL stuff , try to give constructive criticism like a hell lot of people here already do (But still it‘s 50/50 destructive/constructive in here).
and many of you people don‘t seem to have a clue on how many ressources (personal, money, time, marketing, console licenses etc) is taken to fix the big issues, while you can set up only 1-2 people meanwhile to band-aid and hotfix until the big patching team finished their work.

I totaly agree with you, I’ve been saying it too but it doesn’t work it seems. Devs do what they can. People say it should have been fixed before release but im pretty sure a majority of those who scream broken game would have raged even more if the game was delayed 2-3 months

I don’t think that to be true, it’s happened before when games are delayed several weeks or months. People tend to appreciate that more over releasing an incomplete game. Although I don’t think Borderlands 3 is an incomplete game, I do believe people would’ve appreciated if 1 month delayed was done to prevent so many technical difficulties. These hotfixes are doing more harm than good. Lately I’ve found myself playing offline rather than sucking up a hotfix that is balancing 1/3 of the issues. I would rather wait for a full on patch that fixes a majority of the issues rather than waiting to get hotfixes every other week.

I get your point, thank you for the civil reply, its rarely seen on here. I also can agree with the 1 month delay. Have a nice day.
I totally agree with the month of delay to iron out a lot of stuff.
But i‘d also understand gearbox if they found that way to be too risky for the game since their marketing concept was pretty much about to hype up the game as much as possible. In regards of sheer number calculation this combination could’ve hurt them pretty hard.
Also it could‘ve turned the other way and being appreciated just like you said. It‘s kind of a complicated situation to calculate.
Actually i can completely understand your point and would‘ve appreciated some delay aswell.

I hate Maliwan weapons now. It’s sad because they were so good Borderlands 2, maybe even my favorite. Now whenever I find a Maliwan legendary, I almost immediately throw it away. I haven’t found one usable weapon from them without the damn charging.
The charging just needs to go. If they just remove the charging completely, they might be amazing instead of garbage.

Maliwan SMGs. The charging is minimal, and you can keep firing long enough that it just sort of rolls into the reload period while mobbing in my mind. Is it an adjustment? Yes. I’m finding that I’ve been able to adapt pretty quickly though.

A lot of the legendary ones don’t have a charge, also there is a lot of artifacts and com’s, as well as a skill on Amara to reduce it.
I’ve found some really good ones.
I dislike how It has reload and charge time. Is like double slowness.
The charge should be the reload imo.

that moment when your job requirements expanda and you become ux and have to learn while doing your other duties.
I could be wrong but that seems to be what is going on and why they are making some mistakes 🤷

Which console? I’ve not noticed that on my XB1. More likely to run into a video freeze while the game keeps playing - had that happen about 6 times now.

I have an xbox one X on a 64 inch 4k , Usually runs and looks amazing. And when BL# is running smoothly it is amazing. But almost daily it will start to lag really badly, i found the only fix is ti completely reboot the console, clear the cache.
So maybe this is a cache issue
