The game has always felt off. Lol. However, you are correct. With my current build I can basically walk thru M4 with minimal resistance which is most likely why I haven’t noticed. I’m on psn: Sefiroh. Have a bunch of Top Tier annointed gear for FL4K.

Any word on the progress blocker in pyre of starz. I haven’t encountered the bug directly but I’ve helped out a few people who’s play through were stopped in that mission due to Typhon not moving after the “follow typhon” quest step. I see it all the time on the B Lands reddit.

Please fix the problem with shotguns that they can sometimes have such great knockback they throw NPCs from the map blocking progression. Happens often in the Maliwan Black Site for example.

ALL his class mods work! It’s just that most of them aren’t as powerful from a skill tree perspective in terms of the skills they boost or the effectiveness of their legendary effects when compared to Seein’ Dead. Now despite their underwhelming legendary effect and lackluster skill boosts the stats on some of them were quite good. For example, before Seein’ Dead I used to use a Techspert and an Executor to solo the raid at 4 player difficulty because of the AR stats on the Techspert and its SNTL reset legendary effect and the Jakobs/crit/dmg/SMG/etc stats on the Executor.

All that said, the recent buffs to two of his anointments, and the barrier one in particular, has me reevaluating how I think about his class mods. For example, before Seein’ Dead, my go to com was the Executor even though I thought the 22% crit damage bonus was WAAY too small. Now, had GBX listened to me and bumped it up to say 50% or more like I wanted then the recent barrier anointment crit increase could have made Zane BROKEN as feck!!! I’m already experiencing the effect of the barrier buff and its interaction with CCC. When utilized properly it can be so strong that I one shot non badass enemies in M4, meaning that Brain Freeze doesn’t have any chance to proc so I don’t get CCC action skill resets! I have had to adjust my play style to cope. The point is I (and I suspect most of us) tend to think about skills, coms, and anointments independently. But based upon the changes GBX has been making they don’t seem think of them independently at all. For example, from my perspective, Zane’s biggest weakness was a lack of crit bonuses in his kit and with 1 hotfix to an anointment GBX addressed that issue w/o having to redo any skills in his tree. I firmly believe that this is GBX’s strategy in how they will continue to address perceived weakness to vault hunters’ kits.

I agree with the cit damage sentiment. The anointment buffs actually make me want to remove my crit buff suggestion to his trees. Because with skills buffs AND anointment being how they are, Zane would be broken.

If external tool kit buffs are how they are going to fix characters I am warming to the idea of it since it’s largely been very effective. I think Class Mod fixes or even entirely new mods might help balance characters. Zane’s Mod rework shouuld look something like these below(or if they are entirely new mods that have these effects I would be fine with it

Class Mods

Shockertor(or new mod)

  • The Melee Explosion needs buffed. I personally feel it should be switched to the cryo element
  • Additional Passive:All splash damage not caused by Zane is buffed in damage, while also having a chance to double in radius. DTF, Fractual Frags, Drone Delievery are affected
  • Finally, The Passive Skill Fractal Frags should replace Best Served Cold. 2 point in fractal frag would increase the throw chance to 60%. That’s fair.

Cold Warrior(or new mod)

  • When doing Damage(or crit damage) to a frozen Target, there is a chance to freeze an additional enemies nearby.
  • Frozen targets take 50% bonus crit Damage, 100% bonus splash/grenade/AoE Damage(i.e. explosive element). This is a Easter egg for the Pre-sequel
  • Additional Passive: Adds Cryo Efficiency

Executor

  • This mod would be alot better if Zane had Crit Damage damage bonuses in his internal tree.
  • New additional Passive: Targets under 25% health take increased damage(or just increased crit damage).

Infiltrator

  • Buffing “Like A Ghost” as i described would help alot( i suggested it be made a kill skill or higher percentage chance for bullets to “miss”)
  • Additional Passive: The faster Zane Moves, he less damage he takes. Mod needs some damage reduction

AntiFreeze

  • Needs COMPLETE Immunity from cryo slowing.

TechSpert(or new mod)

  • The Passive Skills buffed should be Death Follows Close and Salvation and you can keep Rise to the Occasion from Barrier Tree.
  • New Passive: Drone gains 100% more damage and all augments gain 100% more effectiveness. Drone has chance to reset on kill skill at a 15% rate(or higher honestly).

Someone doesn’t have a real-life pet. :joy:

I was trying a CCC Seein Dead without GM and I was wondering why I could never proc CCC enough to sustain with the build and ditched it. That makes sense now… Thanks!

Okay.

Hotfixes are actually applied to on the Main Menu. They’ve finished applying when you see the sign on the post that says “Hotfix Applied”.
We are continuing to work on performance updates in the game.

Gamma burst buff is really welcome, gamma is one of my favorite builds in the game. Is there any word on some of FL4K’s other bugs though? It’s frustrating having to explain to new FL4K players that e.g., Hunter’s Eye gives less damage than it says, Interplanetary Stalker doesn’t get the correct bonus from big game or the cosmic stalker class mod (which is literally named after it!), Stackbot resets when the wind blows, headcount can reset your cooldowns sometimes, etc. We’ve had a list of FL4K bugs on the forum for a while, and it’s not even exhaustive. Any word on these issues would be huge. Thanks!

I HIGHLY recommend that you and all the other FL4K-ers :grin: report these issues as individual issues via official support channels. Because though GBX may or may not read the forums, 2K probably doesn’t and bringing attention to these issues to 2K will help bolster support to getting them fixed within GBX. I bring this perspective to you as someone who has reported multiple issues and have had some of them fixed.

Good to know. Any thing that can be done to reduce lag is paramount for me if that means longer load times Ill take it and make a sandwich/pee break at loads. But if it can be handled on both fronts that would be awesome. Im looking forward to these “looking into” fixes being made hopefully sooner than later, Im sure you are too so you dont have to field the same questions every week of Coop fixes and console performance.

Zane’s Trick of the Light Ability puts a cryo status effect on Zane when ever he self damages thus slowing him. Any progress on that issue?
