i did ask for it because it takes away build variety when 5 guns are 10 times stronger than any other gun in the game and can literally kill bosses in 5 seconds
then people say “just buff every weapon so that it is equally strong”
first, you would have to buff a few hundred weapons, second, every weapons would kill bosses in 5 seconds and the game would be a joke
hence, OP weapons needed a nerf and also got it

In all fairness, there were others who posted that they’d tried the weapons out and then banked them because they considered them too OP. So it wasn’t just @lolli42

I still find it interesting how that whole “bank the OP weapon” solution didn’t work for the people who didn’t like the OP weapons.
Just ruined the single players experience that did enjoy them when the nerfs came out.

What if someone likes the mechanic of the gun, but it’s to OP and one shot every enemy, even bosses? If the gun is clearly to good it should be nerfed, if gun is to weak should be buffed. Noone is asking for nerf just like that, some people (most?) want to use more than four guns.

My mindset was, “wow, I feel like I’m max level now for sure! I am the DESTROYEEEERRRR”
Now I was never one shotting anything, I was just doing farming runs and enjoying myself at mach 5. I don’t play online except for raids or whoever randomly drops in my game.
But after the nerfs, I don’t really know what to use. I have a huge bank inventory but nothing makes a dent like it was pre-hotfix so it kinda kills it for me!

Well, I never said it’s balanced now :smiley: GBX need to change a lot of things.
I don’t like the nerf of Kaoson, it got to much penalty.

Yeah, the first nerf that got me was moze and the ion cannon, I was having a BLAST with that build, only to get on one day and “wait where’d all my rockets go”
Then I stopped playing her to play Zane and got to 57, did the cartel and was running kaoson and yellow cake and then… Well…
Now I created a Fl4K and he’s pretty fun lvling. I haven’t seen many complaints from the Fl4k camp and hear he does pretty good dmg- Uh they, do pretty good damage at end game so hopefully I can get a build rolling with them that doesn’t get nerfed.

The worst is current powercreep pattern: with every update new guns are way better then the old meta, then nerfed, and again new guns are better then the old one before nerf. Like Yellowcake was way better than original ION Cannon.

About FL4K - After Mayhem Level 4, your pet sort of becomes useless except as bait and to draw aggro away from you.
If you don’t use a Pet Based build you are fine.

But in fairness to everybody else, maybe GBX should not just take a baseball bat and crush the weapons either. Maybe go slow as opposed to attack every single aspect of the weapon, like was done to the Kaoson.

Or be reasonable. Increasing the ammo useage on the Sandhawk, another questionable decision.

The problem with people asking for nerfs, they rarely happen thought out and as past history has shown, goes way overboard.

So how about that ultrawide (21:9 and 32:9) fix? Almost all in game menus are broken and getting more broken after each update/hotfix…

I will be bringing this up more frequently:
