Woke up this morning, loaded up solo and wowzers the game is a lot of fun again. I’m using the clone not just for ASE now.

My drops on the new weapons are poor I haven’t got any of the new legendary weapons. I’ve been running between 2/3 drop locations before save/quitting for the last couple of hours and nothing yet.

It’s been mentioned a couple times on the forum and a massive QOL improvement would be an enemy respawn button at drop locations. Farming ain’t fun on console and with all the different annoints you need to be on the game full-time to get any gear you want.

I stopped playing 4-5 weeks ago. Now I’m back for the new DLC. The new changes are good but I still hate those Mayhem Modifiers. Spent 15 minutes rerolling my M6 modifiers to the less annoying ones yesterday. Please give us the option to turn them off. Modifiers took all the fun. Without them and with fixed drop rates for dedicated loot I think the game could be fun again.

Can you Hotfix Atmos/Spacial Sound back into the game?

Explain to me why a higher level weapon would EVER have less damage than a lower one of the same type:

Lvl 60 has fire rate and literally fire.
Lvl 59 is inferior

Mathematics

Edit: should add what I came here to say - Iron Bear Nuked the run to Gythian’s heart on Mayhem 10… Crit and micro nade ol Bear did - count the millions

Bit of a patch eh <3

Left one is non-elemental that means 20% higher damage over fire one with the same parts.

Sure. Against fleshies. Doesn’t mean anything vs mechs. It also doesn’t have the 10% crit dmg which applies to all head shots. But the issue I’m referring to specifically is why is the Lv 59 able to roll higher weapon damage % than a Lv 60? It shouldn’t even be a thing and it’s not difficult to fix.

Lv X can roll 10 - 20, Lv Y can roll 21 - 31, Lv Z can roll 32 - 42 for example. They need to reign in the RNG.

The lvl60 probably isn’t in the best condition either. These are very fractional variations in power

Heck;

Show a perfect M10Hyperlvl60 and it’d be justified.

The difference is the weapon dmg. Again, if a 59 can roll 47%, a 57 should always roll lower and a 60 should always roll higher.

Did Gearbox recently take on a bunch of EA layoffs or something? Some college kids? What is going on here…

Do all the math up, incorporating the fire rate/reload time differences/DOT. At glance the math doesn’t bother me.
Seems legit  there are better smg’s

shrugs

IMHO both those Hypers are inferior weapons, their stats are sorta moot, seeing as both rolled mishmash.
Check the parts yo

All of that is incorporated in the weapon damage. If it isn’t they’ve done it wrong.

Btw. I have a bug that I would love to have as a feature, but I still wanted to report it:
My display of damage numbers for 2 of 3 Characters is bugged and somehow only shows the correct damage up to 9999. From 10k onwards it basically displays 1/100 of the damage done (if I inflict 11k damage it shows me 110), but it’s being calculated correctly, at least from shooting enemies it seems as if it works properly and just displays wrong.

I love this bug as it basically downscales the feeling of the game in a way that makes inflicting 10k damage feel strong, as it is because the 10k I get shown are in fact 1 million damage.

But I still wanted to report it at least, even if it does no harm.

im still not able to download the current DLC on epic store. its just not letting me atm. so i cannot play the current content atm, as i cannot download the current DLC.

The +% weapon damage modifier is a function of parts. The underlying base damage of the weapon scales up with the level of the weapon.

It is an excellent sniper. But I still prefer the Unseen Threat. I’ll post a video sometime today.

Here’s a quick video of 4 Jakob’s Snipers using my Amara Sniper build:

It includes the M10 Wedding Invitation, the Unseen Threat, Skullmasher, and Headsplosion.

Their RNG is fine. You’re looking at one level change & comparing an elemental to non-elemental. As was described , an elemental is considered to be better or higher than non. And non gets a higher DPS. So, on paper the lower level looks better , but it’s not. find two of the same with different levels for a more apples-to-apples comparison.

Only just starting the DLC and the first thing that hit me when meeting Rose was,

Why is the dialogue really quiet?

No matter what I do with audio options the conversations are really hard to hear, certainly when using my TV sound.

Gearbox, can we please have a bit more gain applied to the dialogue slider?

@Noelle_GBX When using Rushin Offensive with Moze, I have noticed that when firing, I cannot start sprinting… (to gain lifesteal) I have to stop firing, start sprinting, and then start firing again. Is this a bug?

its a “bug” for quite some time now

I assume it’s by design too. Otherwise you could use slow charge weapons while standing still, and then only sprint just as you shoot.
