I don’t understand how doing nothing about Iron Bear while nerfing a build for Moze is doing anything to promote this so called diversity. Call me crazy, but I just don’t see it as of this moment. They could buff IB down the road sure, but RIGHT NOW it is still as powerful as a wet piece of toilet paper in a hurricane and you just nerfed one of Moze’s best builds. Kinda confusing no?
Increasing the chance for the Rakk to add a DoT is…something, but it is pretty incomparable to the effective gutting of what was a once very important skill to most (all?) Fl4k builds.
At this point you might as well delete Flakk. Seems like your trying to kill him off anyway with all the constant nerfing.
Uh…it actually is.
Your bank inventory is now being saved.
Guess what you have in the game?
Your inventory on your character and your inventory for you bank.
Pepega
If you compare Zane’s skill tree with Wilhelm, Jack and Zer0, you will understand how much “effort” Gearbox used to make Zane.
As a Fl4k main I can understand the need for a nerf, but this seems pretty character changing… If it ruins my boss melting build, honestly might just take a break for awhile until you guys get your ■■■■ together because it’s annoying to grind for gear that might not even be useful in the next week.
Um, hi. Balance changes are great and everything, but is there any progress being made on actual bugs in the game?
Has the strange action skill activation cancel been fixed for Fl4k and Moze? It sucks when you activate your action skill and it cancels and goes on cool down like you used it.
And there’s no reason for me to have to go offline to complete a side mission on Necrotefayo because the game completely freezes and closes out.
Those are just the two major instances I’ve delt with, but I’m sure there are plenty more. It would just be nice to know that those kinds of things are at least being worked on rather than just “this skill isn’t being used very much/is over used”. Feels kinda bad for the apparent minority who have to deal with bugs.
@Noelle_GBX "To encourage more build diversity, we made some adjustments to FL4K and Moze this week " best joke ive heard today. What diversity Flak dont have any good build right now rakks are trash in m3 pets too and constant nerfing one vaiable build in the game is no go. Just remove Leave no Trace from the game 2 ammo on 5 sec FA OMEGALUL who is making those decisions.
Noelle, any road map or timeline on the issue that FL4K’s pets and Moze’s Iron Bear are significantly underpowered at higher levels? I would hope they are at least looking into it.
Otherwise, great job on the frequency of these updates. I really appreciate the dedication.
If they had said it that way I would have said it was clear.
Or if they had said, “banks should no longer lose inventory” or “you can now trust your bank”.
Instead they said this:
I mean… I guess they’re saying what we’re saying??? It’s just a really weird way to say it.
I mean if that was the only buff alongside the single nerf, I’d understand. As it is there are various bugs and fixes, and one nerf.
I think focusing on the one nerf at the expense of ignoring any other changes listed is a tad unfair on Gearbox, but hey.
Just spent 5 minutes testing with a Hellwalker and I couldn’t trigger any self damage.
Moze nerf feels appropriate. She will still be incredibly viable and great at mobbing.
The FL4K nerf however makes the skill all but useless unless you have a large mag weapon and even then your only gonna get a few shots extra. They should of just lowered the chance to activate the skill rather than add the retrigger delay.
Thank you very much for fixing the final Xbox achievement. Having a blast with game. Keep up the great work
There have actually been a few posts on here already seeking clarification regarding the bank inventory. I, for one, was hoping for a clearer answer to this.
Just because it’s clear to you does not mean that it is for everyone else. Maybe just try and be helpful next time instead of throwing a general statement out there. That doesn’t help anyone. Have a nice day.
I’m happy for the bank save fix. Now it serves a purpose and I can tone down my army of mules.
I knew it was going to happen. One of the game changing skills of the fl4k crit build was going to be destroyed. Goodbye low mag weapons with guerrilla in the mist. High rof and low damage guns have lost their benefit too. Even without the action skill going 1 ammo per 2 seconds? Wow.
Here are some positives though. You’re saved an action skill augment to use elsewhere. And you’re saved skill points to use elsewhere. And lastly you can use a legendary mod that boost other hunter skills that you like other then leave no trace.
Any mod with that skill is vendor trash now. So it makes the mod hunt that much harder. I’m happy with fixes but smoking fl4k with the nerf bat twice before fixes or buffs that make more of a difference to the master and hunter trees is or at least should be the priority
Yeah seeing that pet classes have their pets and mech die quick isn’t fun like taking falling damage isn’t fun so it never happened, hopefully they notice soon needing to buff certain things need to be fun. . I see to many nerfs and the nerfing from players freaking out is not fun… Least if we go by the idea of to have fun.
Can we get a fix for console mayhem mode in TVHM story. Right now there is no point in playing through the campaign again on TVHM because it’s basically playing the campaign all over again on normal.
Stop nerfing! buffs only… Nerfing one character doesn’t make another character better. Also, we REALLY need more bank space or multiple banks. There are over 100 legendaries and "A BILLION GUNS! " but 50 MAX bank space. Come on!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!
I cannot count the number of times I’ve audibly yelled at my pet through the TV, “GO THE F*** AWAY!”
Next, can you please severely reduce the amount of noise the pets make. Seriously, they’re as annoying as a 3-year-old child yelling, “Are we there yet? ARE WE THERE YET!? ARE! WE! THERE! YET!?!?”
At least they aren’t going to be poking me every time they ask, “Are we there yet?”, anymore.
