By the way guys, I can easily record testing/showcases, if you want! You just ask.
P.S. LUL, that new repeater breaks the ammo regen of Mordi’s Gunslinger com.

I’d like to know if the new sniper that has 800% crit can take out Craws limbs/back with a single-shot. I don’t have one yet, or I’d do it myself.

When I saw Roid Rage Psycho and realized what I was about to witness, I started laughing out loud in the middle of the bookstore.
Good thing nobody else was here.

My apologies for the wrong assumptions. Basically, Hive Mind just breaks the ammo regen of the Bombardier (and I think the Marine) COM, the com on itself still gives the other RLs the ammo regen it used to give. The regen I received with it was from Master Blaster skill of Brick’s. Same with the Sucker punch breaking the ammo regen of the Gunslinger COM. Found it out when ran Sucker Punch and Nemesis and Hive Mind/Undertaker with Mordecai and Brick accordingly. Going to test the other new weapons in a bit.
Update: with further testing it can be concluded that ammo regen from weapon class specific classmods doesn’t apply to the new legendaries. Yet the universal ammo regen from the Support Gunner does apply.

I love how I’m notified when anyone of my Steam friends fires up Borderlands the enhanced version.

I’ve seen mention of that, but little else. Besides the points thing, what does the program actually do?

Currently there’s an option to buy 10 gold keys for BL:Remaster, BL2, and TPS. Not sure if it’s repeatable. There’s a wallpaper for mobile and desktop.
Oh, and there’s this thing for pre-ordering and filling out a pre-order survey.
Which you’ll get if you check SHiFT and play BL3 within the first two weeks of launch.
There’s a teaser banner of a silhouette with Amara, Zane, and a couple guns.
More exciting rewards will be added to the Vault Insider Program soon. Start saving your points for them now!
Activities to earn points include watching trailers on the site, reading articles about Borderlands stuff, and linking your SHiFT account to a 2K account and Twitch.
There are weekly rewards for checking out the Borderlands(or gearbox, I forget) twitters and facebook.
Also, you can trickask people to click referral links. If you manage to get such gulliblemagnanimous folk to click on it and sign up, you get some points!

I hope people are informed and know at least in bl2/tps keys aren’t very good. Can the bl1 chest only drop the new legendaries or all legendaries?
Wait when you say buy keys you mean with cash? If so my point stands

My first crack at that chest gave me 2 blue rarity ARs. Which were admittedly better than some of the blue ARs I’ve found in BL2, but still…

Everything is dealt in points. I’m currently sitting around 3K, with about 700 more I’m willing to collect. There’s a couple surveys you have to take for certain packs of points, they ask things like “have you played any of these games”, “checkbox the consoles you own”, or “which of the BL games have you played”.
There was also one that asked if I preferred to play Borderlands solo or in multiplayer. There was no “both” option, which tripped me up.
The key packs cost 1.5K points. With the new things coming out and my slow rate of key use, I’m not willing to spend them yet.
I can’t say that I’ve used them much, but I do find them pretty useful, especially when I’m gearing up for an OP run or something. That said, I also nearly always have more than 130, so I can spend them in packs of 5-10 until I get something, there is a fair bit of trash that gets sold. But while I’m farming out key legendaries to fight the peak, these do help fill out my loadout.
I’m surprised that it can give anything lower than a purple. The first pic I saw of the chest hinted that the drops were scripted, but if it’s dropping blues then I guess no. If it’s spawning guns with BL1’s AL(Awesome Level) loot system though, it’d make sense you’d get something that’d drop down to a blue.
