Nothing’s really wrong with this Penetrator, but dammit TK: I want an Orion!
And while I was read-only farming for the Orion, I checked the vendors as well and found this Skullmasher
Not that great, but I bought it anyway for 2000 shot Mordecai. The actual fail happened shortly after: 5 runs later another Skullmasher with DVL body and 224x6 damage popped up. So much better and as I alt-tabbed to my save file in order to disable read-only the game crashed. I couldn’t even take a screenshot. ■■■■ ■■■■ and ■■■■.

Bad luck, happens often with enhanced edition. That’s is one of the reasons I stay with the original.

From the Fyrestone vendor: the lowest level Cobra I’ve ever found and only my fourth in total.
Serious question: is a Cobra really useful on Mordecai or is it just Brick’s favorite sniper rifle? Because I’m pretty underwhelmed by this gun. Tried it for farming Bone Head and it did 5k ish damage while a green Jacobs (568 damage) did 6.5k damage. I guess Trespass renders all elemental weapons a bit useless?

I use Cobra on all toons, obviously that Brick makes the most of the explosive damage, but Mordy can be deadly with it too.

Well that is the Worst Possible Cobra, literally the worst parts available. The Cobra accessory isn’t gonna pull all that Suck above water. That’s the mechanics of bl1…you’re not looking for legendary guns that just have your preferred sight and the right grip or whatever like bl2, youre looking for top notch guns that have legendary accessories on them.

Yeah, I’m not that good with parts, but even I knew that this is a lousy Cobra when I bought it. I find them so rarely that I don’t have a real opinion about them and I was just surprised that it sucks that much.

My first double Violator, dropped by Skagzilla. Not sure if it’s really a fail, but definitely the wrong gun for 2000 shot Mordecai. And aren’t elemental Violators preferable in every way?

Absolutely. Due to the way repeaters proc, elemental violaters are the way to go. NonEs, specially doubles, are just too inaccurate and have huge recoil that just make it really hard to get anything on target, imo. You’re better off with a decent machine pistol. They can actually get to x3 with the right parts , too.

The good thing about Dahl Headland is that I’m finding lots of mashers. The bad thing is that they’re all crap and worse than what I already have.
Why are the aspect ratios of the gun cards not always the same? 
I’ve farmed the Scavenger: Revolver mission reward quite a bit and took this Jacobs in the end. Accuracy is horrible but it has by far the most raw damage of everything I’ve seen.

This gun could have been so good but barrel2 makes it almost useless. I shot a Lance soldier 5 times and never hit, really sad.

“Only stuff from the ground” Mordecai is farming Skagzilla for a perfect Elephant Gun and is getting some legendaries along the way, mostly fails though. At least I have some guns for Craw now.
Edit: second purple Elephant Gun after 100 runs and what a fail!

Back at the game, still no perfect Elephant Gun. I’ve probably seen 80% of the legendaries being dropped by Skagzilla and it’s almost comical how bad they usually are:
And from Torgue only Brick: a bandit at Taylortown dropped a Friendly Fire…carnage. You can kill spiderantlings with it, but that’s about it, dang.

I got a kick out of this one because I don’t think it can be worse for an item of the day. Body 2, mag 2, mat 1, sight 1, barrel 1, stock 1. Absolute trash… And I love it.
