iirc the armory doesn’t give max level gear, is that still just from Craw?
I heard the pearls are stupid rare and pulled it on my first run, I was tripping out. lol Definitely stashed it even though it’s not max level.

If you have killed the Destroyer located at the Vault. You can simply farm that center chest for a higher level Violence. 
They still are. I went at Craw all last night and got nothing but fixed part Legendary Gearbox Weapons. ended up crashing to desktop twice. Still no pearl. loaded up Roland and did some Armory runs and stopping off at lost lewt chests. nada…I’m finding them to be just as rare. and no hybrid yet. has anyone confirmed the ability to get hybrids still? Any Ajax Ogre’s?

Haha i couldnt even hover over the hellfire because they were inside each other. Thats 54 craw kills 0 pearls btw. Was hoping new game new luck with the pearls

Not that far yet. We only just killed the rakk hive in the Trash Coast. Would like to have a higher level one before then, but I’m almost out of gold keys and the only higher level versions of the Gearbox weapons we’ve got are the Baha’s bigger blaster and hive mind. And none of the other sources of legendaries are cooperating either. RNG hates me in this game

Yeah I haven’t killed Crawmerax yet, but I’m probably up to at least 20-30 Armory runs and I’ve seen 2. This is kinda off topic, but what is the deal with pearl drops?
I know they’re only in the Knoxx DLC, can regular enemies drop them? (potentially) And do they spawn in any of the chests (red, grey, armory)? Both the ones I’ve seen were in the armory chests.

Drifters can drop the Jackal (shotgun grenade launcher) and the Undertaker (rocket launcher). Badass enemies can drop certain pearls but only in the Knoxx DLC. And they can only spawn in Crimson Lance chests

That’s why people farm the Armory for them as well Craw. Largest concentration of Lance chests

Well the game describes them as uber rare or something like that. You see 5 everyday and it becomes meaningless. Like these gearbox legendary guns

Before I knew about the NW spot I used to farm craw way over on the other side. (Run to the right as soon as you enter). It only worked with Lilith using very careful phase walk timing and crouching. And the nidhogg did come in handy here.
