What to do I just got box copy of this game from a shop installed it played the first story mission a now cant play further because Game says “You must own the full version Battleborn in order to use this feature” Can I somehow activate the full game? And no my box copy did not come with the cd key. Just installed for the disc to steam. Can I or you somehow activate the full game?

Sounds like you need to fill out a support ticket.
As suggested, filling out one of the support tickets here is probably your best chance of getting this sorted.
