So some interesting interactions which I would love some double checking on:
1.) Brainstormer and Redistributor chains/amp shots definitely proc Short Fuse, and therefore FitSD. We all knew this stuff… HOWEVER… Unsure if links/chains of Brainstormer stack/double chances of SF occurring… But it makes consecutive hits rack up VERY quickly, since FitSD will cause DoT. Also just seemed to proc SF way more than expected, so, think there might be something odd there. Wish there were two dummies in the shooting range… Either way, Brainstormer seems more effective than Redistributor somehow, so I believe it has something to do with that. Could just be base damage differences though.
2.) It does appear that switching between 2 weapons with consecutive hit annointments maintains the stacks. Dunno if that got determined already and I just forgot. Still not completely sure, but plan on more testing later tonight.
It turns out this is a very effective build for Moze, even though the base weapons don’t do splash. I need to actually run Takedown though. Been low on time with work obligations, so take with a grain of salt.
The sheer amount of SF instances between all of the chains and ricochet shots causes MoD to proc near constantly. The DoT from the incendiary bonus from FitSD maintains max (200%) stacks from consecutive hits.
When running Slaughterstar and Slaughter Shaft, i wasn’t even really aiming much for crits; was kinda of hard to see with all the explosions anyway… But was still able to maintain near max ammo and grenades. Was using CMT with 6 PthP, so could have tainted that info.
Was using a hybrid IB/infantry build, so I imagine jumping in and out with +50% rad or corrosive on shield would yield possibly better results.
I think there’s also some potential for a Green Monster build, since you are maintaining damage ticks near constantly, and could help you deal with armor. However, i feel the +100% splash damage from Blast Master gives a good base to start with. I also don’t have a great Green Monster to test with, whereas my Blast Master is near perfect.
All in all, it’s very interesting, and been one of my favorite Moze builds so far. Definitely needs polishing, but I could happily run this for any content. Throw in a Kybs Worth for single target boss stuff, should be fine. (I’ve been using a Cutsman, don’t have a Kyb with this annointment.)
